corona, most are given in the belly but then there are the muscular ones (usually HCG and progesterone in sesame seed oil). There is an HCG that goes inyour belly though, its called Ovidrel, its more expensive and very hard to find outside of a pharmacy.

Tenk: I am glad it didn't hurt! So are you sure the timing was good with the HCG? Did you ever get the right CM or did your OPKs tell you? When you e-mailed me I really thought you were close to having your surge by what you said, but that seams like it was a long long time ago.. You did say you felt yourself ovulate though right? thats good. I heard its more intense with the shots :( but the upside is at least your more aware of whats going on so you can time everything just right :D

It's actually harder to mave a boy than a girl. Medically speaking. All babies start out female. There are some studies tath say if you were to try on the exact day of ovulation (within 12hrs) your chances for a boy are increased. & for a girl your to try 24-48hrs before or after ovulation as sperm can live up to 72hrs.
