Is Anyone Else Paranoid Like Me

Hi all, I am 26 weeks pregnant with twins. This is not my first pregnancy, although it is my first multiple pregnancy. The major difference (reassurance wise) I am finding is that when you are pregnant with one baby, you are reassured when you feel movement. But with 2 babies, I am never entirely reassured because how can you tell if you are only feeling 1 or both? I am finding that I wait to go to the doctor's office, just to see those little heartbeats on screen, and only then do I breathe a sigh or relief... then of course within 2 days I start to worry again! I know I'm nuts, but I think all these extra hormones are taking their toll. Just wanted to know if anyone else feels like this, and how do you deal with it. Thanks

Hi there, I feel for you....I'm 22wks with twins, and I have a boy that will soon be 6yrs. I find I am totally more worried with this pregnancy because everyone seems to have a horror story to tell me. I also worry about enough movement, but sometimes one seems to be asleep and the other is wide awake and kicking. It is very rea__suring to hear their hb's. I think the extra hormones are partly to blame with the extra moodiness and worry. I've had less problems with this pregnancy so far than I had with my older boy! I hope that you can become excited again about the babies, I find I have a bad day or two and then I get excited all over again, it's a real roller coaster! LOL. Best of luck and belly rubs to you and your sweet babies!

mscott~the old saying is the mind is a powerful thing that's why i asked if twins were on your mind while you were ttc sometimes it's like your mind can tell your body just what to do.......i say this because my aunt is a doctor she is one of those all natural docters so she is the one that told me this she said just think hard about you are going to have twins and be very possitive very and 7 times out of 10 it will happen...............be happy life is to short make the best out of what ever is going on in your life....that's my saying...can't wait to hear from you all....

Hello everyone, I am 23 and would like to conceive twins. I am trying to change my diet to increase my chances and was just wondering whether any of you gals can tell me if you were doing anything special to conceive your babies! Good Luck to you all..

I'm not the only one ready to jump out of my skin, i guess! This is going to be a long nine months! I'm 7 weeks pregnant with twins. The first ultrasound was done due to some bleeding... and surprise -- two heartbeats! I have been so anxious for my first doctor's exam and next ultrasound and then the nurse called yesterday and said the doctor wants me to come in next week for another ultrasound (two weeks after the first one.) As much as i want to see the babies again and make sure they are growing properly, i feel scared to death that the doctor WANTS me to come in?? Is this routine or did he see something concerning in my last ultrasound. I feel so nervous everyday! My BF doesn't understand why i'm so "paranoid." Does bi-weekly ultrasounds seem normal to you guys???

Zerafa05 - November 21

TamaraAngel - I don't blame you for being paranoid. I would actually call up the doctor and ask him whether it is just a routine visit or whether there is something they need to discuss with you in relation to your babies. Try to relax and stay calm, it is better for your babies if you are not stressed. Good Luck with it all and keep us posted. Zerafa05
