Measuring Big Could It Be Twins

The doctor measured my uterus and told me it is measuring at 12 weeks when I'm only 8. She thought maybe I was further than what I am, so she tried to listen for the heart beat and could not find it. I have a sonogram on Monday. Twins and Triplets run on my moms side. This is also my third pregnancy. Just wanted to know if anyone who is pregnant with twins measured big in the first trimester.

All my measurements in my 1st tri were right on target for a singleton pregnancy. 2nd tri and on is when I was measuring bigger.

I don't even remember them measuring me in my first trimester. I know that I felt like I was getting bigger faster, but I just don't remember. I think they started measuring around 20 weeks or so. We found out about the twins at 8 weeks. By 20 weeks, I was measuring about 4 weeks ahead.

I'm sorry, not my first pregnancy. I do have an older child.
