Ever since my 2nd month of pregnancy, I will get these blinding migranes that are so bad, its hard to do anything but close my eyes. My doctor pres. me Lortab 5mlg for it, but that doesn't help very much. She won't bump up the mlg. for me on my med., and recommends just going to the hospital everytime?! I can't afford that, and there aren't any neuroligists that will treat a pregnant women. Any Advice?

I'm sorry to hear that. I too suffer from migraines pre-pregnancy and at times they get bad. They dont advise you to take any other meds bc they can cause mc, I had taken 1 of my doses and did not know I was preg, I ended up lossing my baby, so I just deal with it. I try to make sure I eat every 3hrs a snack or something, keep well hydrated, to to keep stress level at a min. and get as much rest as you need, lack of or too much of any of these can bring on a migraine attack. When i do get them I take 2 tylenols whch arent too strong, but helps relieve neck pain from the migraine, a hot shower on your head, neck area and sometimes ma__sages to the pain area help, mediation can relieve it some. Its not much you can do, but the alternative can be dangerous for your baby. I wish you luck. and if you need anymore help feel free to e-mail me.
