Hi. No idea if I'm having twins or not, (I'll find out in a week) but I've been having some lower abdominal discomfort already and I'm only at 9wks. Is it more common for those having twins to feel ligament pain early on... or is it normal for every pregnancy? This is my first pregnancy, so I really don't have anything to compare it to. Also, my grandma (on my mom's side) is a fraternal twin... as am I... so I just wonder if maybe I could be having twins. Since all of you are having twins, maybe you could give me some input on the discomfort. Thanks!

im 11weeks pregnant today with twins. i went to the dr at my 10th week and found out. i had two kids prior to this pregnancy both single, and i noticed more pressure and more back pain with little cramping if i did too much at one time. i also feel more pressure to use the bathroom. so it could be a possibility. good luck!

i felt that way with my first nnd their was only one. i am now having triplets and the big difference for me is that i have to go to the bathroom a lot more often. i have also heard that twins in your case usually skip a generation so if your grandmother is a twin then it skipped your mothers generation, then you are a twin it will probably skip your childrens generation.
