Most Importantly Corona - I don't care what you think or say. But just as it is easier and highly likely for a black woman to conceive twins/multiples NATURALLY. You have to understand it is EASIER for us to carry them to full term. OUR bodies are different..And I don't give a d__n what you say..We tend to be more hipper, big b___ts, shaped different. Our hair is different, our skin is different, black doesn't crack ALL kinds of differences. You can not put me in your catagory by any means. Except for the fact that we are both female and conceive. You really need to keep your mouth shut.

Why do you think statistics says..Asian woman are most likely then ANY race NOT to conceive twins? The woman are generally small and other factors. You should see the hips and b___t on my friend that spit out her 11 pound baby! She is a tiny (short) woman but her build held the heck out of that baby. It's in our blood, genetic, make-up..we generally dialate easy.. Something maybe you will never truly understand. In my neighborhood growing up, and ALL black community. I can not count the number of twins that grew up with us. It was very common. I can remember all the sets in my grade school and high school growing up. We spit them out! Why?? It's our make-up. You just don't get it

I am fighting very hard to keep my mouth shut....so I will not comment. Kim-you don't have to prove it to anybody...... So your race, age, and number of pregnancies has put you at an an increased risk of having multiples...does any body care to dispute that???

Well I guess I'm just feeling a little sad about how some can be so selfish. I just don't bash people and let people be their own. So many different strokes for different folks. And every person is very different and I have always TRULY respect that in every person I meet and come in contact with. Regardless how their experiences are different then mine. I love people and that is why I came here. I had NO IDEA my pregnancies would put so many people in battle :-(

To the ladies who have skipped appt.....multiple pg are NOT like singletons. They ARE high risk, especially if it is triplets or babies are sharing sacs and placentas. You are comparting apples to oranges again. Close monitoring can head off complications b4 they become life threatening...that is why sonos are done every week with twins in the 3rd tri...to check fluid levels and placenta calcification. Missing one appt IS a big deal with multiples and if you haven't experienced multiples you wouldn't KNOW that. My Dr did more than weight, urine, hb checks at every appt. As far as your body not giving you more than you can handle...I totally disagree. Ladies have conceived triplets spontaneously, yet lost them due to complications. Why did they conceive them if the body knew they could handle that pg....As far as black women conceiving more twins...that is true, but NOT for the US that is a worldwide stat and it is high because of the Kenyna tribe that eats many yams which is a natural clomid. In that country it is unusual to NOT have twins. So US black women have no higher chance than any other race. Chances of conceiving twins with every risk factor is STILL 1 in 89 w/o meds. That includes age, race, multiparity. and Kim an fyi hippier does not mean easier carrying of a baby, maybe delivery but not during the pg...and big b___t has NOTHING to do with carrying or conceiving twins or a singleton.

good grief!..ohh geez...sigh sigh sigh

and once again..I did not say anything about anyone elses body. I said MY BODY!!!!!! You truly don't get it. I only speak for myself!!!! "So US black women have no higher chance than any other race." This is your opinion and not a fact. We eat sweet potatoes in my house at least twice a week. And other foods that I'm sure are not on the norm for others..Cutural?? You just don't get it.. and never will. We are didfferent and You will NEVER understand. I'm not here to argue statistics, race..or what you are feeling about people in Africa. As I am not from that origin, NOR are those my creed of black. But what do you know?? Truly..what do you know? Everything is your opinion..How can a man speak for a woman? How can an asian speak for a black? How can a child speak for a grown up?? Stop..pleaseee just stop.

twins4us - April 10

Kim it isn't my opinon it is fact taken from the national moms of twins organization. And the sweet potatoes in the us are NOT the same as the yams in Africa....do your research...I HAVE!!

Very interesting..I have given my phone number out. Because I am a honest and a real person..even willing to speak to twins4us who thinks I'm a crazy person making up stories and coming to a pregnancy forum. I wanted to speak to twins4us..woman to woman..she could have heard my voice and got a better understanding by speaking to me. Instead of doing so (MY PHONE HAS NOT RANG) she continues to go off at the mouth and make acusations. All she has to do is pick up the phone and we could talk cordially and rest all her suspicions and concerns :-) I WILL NOT explain every detail of my life as to why the website isn't finished and all the nonsense that is stated here. If you want I will take the cell phone in the office tomorrow at 10:00 EST you can call while it's being performed. Now lets see WHO is the real person. Then you can come back and tell it all, that you actually spoke to me while I ws having the U/S performed.
