Hi has anyone with multiples had the nuchal U/S test done yet? I know the blood work doesn't really work for twins or multiples since they just take your number and cut it in half. And they do the same for the AFP and triple marker. So those blood tests don't give any clear conlcusion. But I just had the Nuchal U/S and wondering what everyone else's neck fold mesurements and risks were.

I had the nuchal fold test w/my trio and the measurements were considered normal (under 3 mm I believe is ok). Anyway.. the bloodwork that goes together with that test is basically void w/triplets or more.. dont know about twins

O.k. so apparently not too many have had this test, I'm due for my 15 week appt and now am wondering about the AFP triple screen. Has anyone else had these tests done with twins and what were your results??

We didn't do the nuchal test, sorry. We also were told that the AFP wouldn't be reliable with twins, so we decided not to do it.

We didn't do it the AFP. After reading about it and discussing it with my DR, we thought it best to just let the u/s show what was going on. I just didn't need the added stress of a false positive which was likely going to happen.
