Dh and I have two boys 2.5 and 1 years old. We would like to start TTC in about 1.5 years. We would love to have twin girls. There are twins on dh's side of the family, and my first pregnancy (miscarriage at 8 weeks was with twins). I don't know if this increases my chance of concieving twins or not. Anyone know? Are there any natural methods to help concieve twins? any tried and tested? Thanks!

Hello, unfortunately it doesnt matter if your dh has twins in his family. It wont help you any on you quest for twins. But being that you have already got pregnant with twins, you have a slightly better shot then most to conceive twins. I have heard that there are a number of supplements that you can take along with wild yams (they have to be from africa) that you can eat. These are suppose to make you hyper O. There is no natural method that I have found that will help though. I am currently ttc twins, and the best chance that I have found was by taking clomid. This can be rx by your OB or there is a number of sites where you can by it u/p online. I have been talking to other women in this forum for about 6 months and the ladies on clomid have had the most success.
As far as ttc a girl (thats my goal too) there are a number of methods that can be tries but my OB said that none of them have been proven to be effective. On my next cycle I am gonna be trying a combination of the Shettles method and the O+12 method.
