Husband was tested & had a low morphology 3%, did anyone conceive with there spouse at this percentage. The count was good, they were good swimmers. The clinic suggested shots and IUI or IVF. ? Took Clomid for the Clomiphene challange and passed. I'm 38 and my husband is only 37. Is there anyway to reverse it??

He could try some lifestyle changes. Is he a smoker? If so he should quit. Quit drinking too if he does that, also taking vitamins may help. My DH had 10% morph and 3 months after quitting smoking, drinking and improving his diet he had a better sample. I'm not saying this will fix your problem, but it certainly can't hurt. With 3% morphology your best bet to conceive is to undergo treatment. There are lots of reasons men can have low morphology, it isn't always age. My Dh is only 31.

My dh's morphs were 1% Kruger, 13% Kruger, 48% WHO, 20% WHO, 4.5% Kruger and 16% WHO, I think in that order. The 20% WHO and 4.5% Kruger were from the same sample, and the 16% WHO was from our most recent IUI, and we finally conceived this cycle on our 2nd round of injectables/IUI. There is hope, and even without IVF! We were told after our first SA that we'd probably only get pregnant with IVF, and here we are pregnant from an IUI (which is A LOT cheaper). I say at the very least give injectables/IUI a shot a few times before moving on to IVF. Most docs like you to do that before IVF anyway so they can see how you react to the meds. Get your dh on some antioxidants, like Pycnogenol and Coenzyme Q10 and add in some Lycopene and a multivitamin. That's a good starting point, anyway. I had my dh on handfuls of supplements. Best of luck to you!

My husband had 3.2% morph, we got preg on 6th month of Clomid with our daughter and surprise pregnant with our son when she was a year old. Don't lose hope!

Oh, he had an extremely low count with acrosomal abnormalities and low motility as well, so it really can happen.

There is no doc_mented way to help with low morph. However the numbers can very up or down at every testing. Don't give up hope. Hubby had more than really low morph problems & we now have 9month old boy/girl twins.

Thank Everyone so much, just needed a little hope. I've been very emotional,it's been a one step forward, two steps back ordeal.
