Will you have to see a high risk OB b/c your having triplets? My Dr refers out multiples pregnancies.

GoGo, if I were you I would try to see a perinatologist over a regular OB if you can find one. I saw a regular OB with my twins (you don't really need one with twins unless there's complications) and was sometimes uncomfortable with the level of care I was receiving. My doctor was very lax. I had no complications, but if I had I would have been happier with the high risk doc as they tend to be a bit more proactive. Also, ask your RE for a recommendation. The peri in my OB's group actually ended up delivering my babies because she happened to be on call that night. I really wished I had seen her all along.

Actually I'm going to a maternal fetal medicine specialist--I'm selecting among 5 at the moment, although the ones that don't really seem to be making an incentive to get me in there aren't making a stellar impression :D I've seen one already and he seems to be pretty laid back. I have a meeting with another one tomorrow. I totally agree on the need for stepped-up care--my regular OB wanted to actually keep me on (!!! I couldn't understand why) but I said no thanks to that :D
