I recently had an ultrasound and the dr said that I had a shared fused placenta. What is that? Is it a problem?

It means that they each have a placenta but it fused together. As long as they aren't sharing one placenta, then it should be fine.

That's very common during multiple pregnancies. There just isn't enough room in there! All three of my placentas were fused together.
