I had an ultrasound done at about 5 weeks (last thurs) to rule out misscarrige. On the scan they were able to see a yolk sac pretty clearly(still pretty early). But right behind/beside it there was a shadow, which they couldn't say for certian was not another one. Has this ever happened to anyone and what was the result? I have another u/s un 2 weeks to see if it is twins or not and I am a little nervous. I already have a 2 yr old and was so not planning on having more than 2

I wasn't planning on having even one more, but now I'm having two. It took me a long time to become ok with the whole twins thing. But once you let go and accept it (if you are having twins), you will discover a huge amount of joy. Trust me, if I can do it, so can you.
