Twins On Husbands Side Chances

my husbands family has tons of twins. His grandmother had two sets...what are our chances of twins? I am only 5 weeks but big already! any thoughts?

From what I know, to conceive fraternal twins they have to come from the mother's side of the family. Now if you have a daughter, then she will be more likely to deliver twins herself since it's on her side of the family. Identical twins are a fluke though that can happen to anyone...history of twins or not. So you are no more likely than anyone else, unless you have twins on your side of the family. Good luck! :)

This is correct...though it may be odd...fraternal twins comes from the maternal side, so you can credit your family for this accomplishment :)
