I had yet another ultrasound today and the finally discovered that my babies are in two seperate sacs, that was a relief!! However they are worried about twin to twin transfusion b/c they are sharing only one placenta. I am so scared for that to happen it is seriously stressing me out. Anyone else in the same situation as me or have already gone through it??

hi wannababyboy, sorry i never replied to you in 'idenical twins share a placenta', I have identical twin girls who are now 5 months old. I was first told monamniotic twins also, than they found the deviding membrane, that was such a releif, but than the drs also said about the twin to twin transfusion, they just kept a close eye on me and the babies, had regular ultrasounds, and had to see the dr every fortnight. It was a full on pregnancy, but it was all worth it. At about 34 weeks one of my twins wernt growing so well, so they done regular checks of heartbeats, and more frequent growth scans, but thankfully she started to grow again, I had a natural delivery at 36 weeks and 2 days. Twin 1 (ahliyah) was born at 5lbs 9.5oz, and 10 minutes later twin 2 (ryleigh) was born at 4lbs 8oz. I know it was hard to try not stress out, but if you are having regular check ups, they should be able to keep an eye on things. I hope all is going well for you now, take care and best of luck with everything. cb xoxo

Thanks cb, its good to hear a success story like yours. I am trying really hard not to worry but its so hard. My doctor is great though he is monitoring me very closely, so far everything is good. All I can do is hope for the best, I have confidence that it will all be okay.
