Is anyone out there using egg whites or used egg whites in the past as a mid cycle lubricant in order to conceive? I am on Clomid 150 mgs days 3-7, and Metformin 1500. I have noticed that during prior cycles that Clomind does dry me out and nor Robitussin or Mucinex have seemed to help. We have used preseed as well, but still no pregnancy. I am researching all of my possible options as I just had surgery in December due to a tumor (cystadenoma) on my right ovary. I had to have it removed, and the doc said that I will be even more fertile than usual up to 3 months after the surgery...........so I want to do alllllll that I can this cycle to get preggo.
I have read the instructions: Leave an egg on the counter for an hour and then crack it open and remove the yolk, put the whites in a syringe and use as an internal lubricant to TTC....sorta gross...but I am to the point to where I will do just about anything including standing on my head j/k! lol
I am currently on CD 6, and am eagerfor this month to get a move on! Why does time go by so slowly at times!?!?!....lol
Anyways DH and I have been TTC for nearly 2 years. I have PCOS, and have very irregular periods. I am excited this month because my baseline scan looked very good, and the doctor was very positve about this cycle.
The doc wants me to come back on the 22nd for a mid cycle scan and then HCG shot, and then 3days later will start progesterone suppositories 200mm 2x's daily......yuck!
Anyone out there on a regimen like me?, or that can be my cycle buddy?
