Hi, I'm another annoying person who thinks I could be having twins. My husband is an identical twin. His aunt and uncle on his dad's side are fraternal twins and his mothers aunt and uncle are fraternal twins. My grandfather had twin brothers.
I am 8 weeks into my second pregnancy - my sickness is way worse than last time - also I get very short of breath and am often fatigued. My thoughts will not be confirmed unitl the U/S which is mid-january. My mother-in-law thinks it could be twins. I'm thinking if its not twins then its a girl coz I feel so bad. Anyone have any theories????

Your husband having twins is said to not have an affect on whether you conceive twins or not. But, there are some who say that identicals could be cause by, something undetected for now, in the sperm but the egg has to be receptive to it. Anyhoo, the shortness of breath in pretty early for 8 weeks. I didn't get that until the second trimester but that is just me. To be honest, there are no "twin" symptoms, just pregnancy symptoms. A lot of twin moms don't suspect twins and find out by an u/s for the shock of their life. When do you go in for an u/s?

i have just had a little girl two weeks ago and i had next to no morning sickness only one morning where i vomitted and the rest of the time just feeling faint so i'm not so sure that the theory that you have more morning sickness with a girl is true
