When we look at the ultrasound it seems to see a shadow behind the fetus that the doctor did not say anything about. I just want others opinion. I have not had an ultrasound after that. (this was my 7 week u/s) Is it possible or is my family just trying to put this in my head? Could it be when I go to my 20 week u/s they find 2 instead of only 1 baby? Please respond ASAP.

No. Sorry. Technically, anything's possible, but if they did a good ultrasound it's not going to happen. They look at the uterus from a lot of angles. Do you remember when the tech went from one side of your belly to the other? Plus, babies move around. They would have seen another baby at some point. The early ultrasound has 2 main goals, date the pregnancy and determine the number of fetuses. The ultrasound tech is in there looking for multiple fetuses. Ultrasounds pictures look very fuzzy, anyways.
Sorry. If you learn something new at a later ultrasound come back and tell us. I'd love to be proved wrong!

They didnt look from too many angles; just took a v____al u/s to mainly hear heartbeat and make sure it reached atleast 130. and checked my olveries. but thank you very much just wanted another opinion.
