I found out I was pregnant with triplets at 5wks (I'm 11weeks now). I miscarried one at six weeks, but the other two carried on. As soon as me and my bf accepted this and started getting excited about the twins, we are told one has a chromosomal disorder which he/she wont survive and the other has Anencephaly(no skull development). After being devastated for days I have finally found the strength (maybe insanity) to carry on. My bf on the other hand is so heartbroken and unmotivated...We must terminate before twelve weeks, my procedure to do so is Monday. Okay here is the insanity part, I'm posting this here cuz this is the only website I've come across where ppl really dont judge you...
I was not taking any drugs when I got pregnant with 3, twins runs on my moms side, and has never skipped a generation, my grandmother had two sets of twins, one set died in labor. After my procedure I am hearing that I am more likely to get pregnant, very quickly, and actually can have s_x a week after the procedure. I planned to take 50/100mg (not sure yet of which dosage I will choose) clomid immediately following the procedure to start trying again for multiples as soon as possible. One because I feel this will really help my bf get over this devastation and two i feel so robbed and cheated...My question is really about the procedure for doing this or if anyone has done it right after miscarrying or terminating...all this cycle and timing stuff is new to me but I need to jump right in (in a safe way) to keep sane. I have a normal 28day cycle, my period usually comes on the 7th of each month, but not sure if my cycle will be off due to the termination...When should I start taking the clomid? I want to take the clomid on days 3-7 cause it seems to have the highest success rate, but i dont know when this is? I was told after a termination you usually start ovulating two weeks after...if this is the case should I wait three days after the termination procedure, then start taking the clomid, then have intercourse the following weeks? Thanks in advance for your help and understanding.

I am so sorry to hear all the problems that you are having. I know that the loss is difficult but you are doing the right thing.
More then likily your cycle will be a little off at first. You wont be able to get prego again until the pregnancy hormones are out of your system from your current pregnancy because your body needs to figure out that your not prego anymore so that it can start ovulating again. Speaking from experience, most doctors will tell you to wait at least 3 months before trying to get pregnant again. If I were you, I would give yourself at least a month before you start trying again. You want the best for your future babies right? So let your body have a break before starting again. After that, when you get your first period. Start counting your cycle days from the first day of full flow is cd1. With your past you do have a high chance of multiples so I would do 50mg cd 3-7 if i were you. Just keep in mind that the more babies you get pregnant with, the higher chance that you have of a miscarriage. Good Luck in your future pregnancy!
