Does the fact that they are in the same placenta, does this mean they will be the same s_x?

Do you mean they are in the same sac and share a placenta, if so it is highly likely they are identicals and will be same s_x

If they are in the same sack, they will definately be the same s_x, as they will be identical. But, sometimes, it they can be in seperate sacs, and appear to have the same placenta. But, in reality, it is hard to tell because a lot of time the placentas grow together.

IF they do share the same placenta they WILL be the same gender, HOWEVER it is tough to determine if it is one placenta or two that have fused together by u/s alone.
