i have one sack and twins with a cute little partion fence in between them (that's what it looks like on the ultrasound) , the dr said that it's very possible that they'll be identical because it's one sack. it would seem to me that it would be definate that they'll be but i guess not. anybody know anything about this? by the way if the right word in english for the place where the babies hang out is not sack, sorry, i can't remember the word, in hebrew it's sac erayon- literally pregnancy sack, so i'm hoping that's right. thanks.

If there are 2 babies in one placenta (sac) then they're identical. BUT if there are two sacs (implied by the fence), and they're in the same chorion sac (a sac that holds the sacs?) there's a chance that they're still identical, but could be fraternal. The only way there are absolutes (without birth/DNA) is boy/girl is obviously not identical, and 2 in one placenta is definitely identical

Correction - for whatever reason, I decided to leave my brain behind today! Not placenta - amniotic sac. So, if I could do an edit or find and replace, I would make that switch - but, since I can't, you'll have too!
