True, c-sections are a lot more common with twins, but I know a lot of twin mommies that have given birth v____ally. It all depends on the situation. If baby A is the bigger baby and as long as he is face down during labor, then a v____al delivery is possible, even if baby B is breach since baby A (the bigger baby) has made the wake for baby B. Of course, if the twins are identical and share a sac, there is danger with cord entanglement, so a c-section is probably going to happen. It is a wait and see situation. Both my twins were face down, baby A was more than a pound bigger than baby B, I have birthed v____ally twice before, but I ended up with a c-section since baby A was face up and stuck. Also, there is the possibility of birthing baby A v____ally and still having to endure a c-section to birth baby B which was my biggest birthing fear! Hope this all makes sense.

My Dr. was pro-v____al if possible. As long as A was head down, then we would go for it. A finally did flip to head down at 35 weeks, then my little stinker B flipped to breech at 38 weeks. She ended up flipping to head down after he came out, but they would have tried to turn her or deliver her breech if needed. So, no it is not a necessity. Be upfront with your Dr. about wanting to try it if possible.
