ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE GREAT TWINS

Hi, my husband and i decided to have a baby and I am 35 years old and he is 50 years old.... Well my last period was on Jan. 29th, 2007- in late January I was taking Vitex-natural herb and Feb. 6th and Feb. 7th were my fertile dates and we had intercourse.... On Feb. 18th I took pregnancy test which brought me to 5 days prior and it came positive.... I actually "FELT "pregnant by this time , my chest hurt, nauseated and sensitive to smells.... I am now approx. 8 weeks and feel like I'm 4 1/2 months.... This would be 5th child and I was wondering does it sound as if I am carrying twins? My Aunt and Grandma had twins....

Acutally, Yes. It's twins. You are for sure having twins.
Seriously, wouldn't this be a question to ask your doctor? How would anyone here know if you're having twins???

Wow! I think a a nicer answer could have been a tab bit better don't ya think?! How rude. Anyway, I have 5 kids, and twins also. My 5th baby I was thinking maybe twins again, but it was just one. My G-grandma had 2 sets of twins. Anway, it could be twins, or it could be that since this is your 5th child you were more sensetive to "feeling" prego early. I was with my #5....good luck to you though. And congrats on a nother baby!

No problem! :) When do you get an U/S? Has your dr ran hcg levels yet? That was the first sign the dr. at the clinic that I got my test at noticed and had me come in for an U/S.

My U/S will hopefully be right away - I was trying to wait until I'm a little futher(past scary part) before made first appointment- So for now was just getting as much info. on line as poss.... If I am not having twins then TRULY every pregnancy can be different.... Although my first 4 were the same ....

the main 2 symptoms that Ive had both twin pg that Ive had are 1 a heavy feeling in my pelvic area, and 2 i get sinus crud within the first 6 weeks of pg. I had that again this time and KNEW I was pg with twins. I just had a v____al u/s yesterday that CONFIRMED my suspicions. I think its highly possible. I also wanted to add that my 3yr old dd was a twin, and I concieved them while taking Vitex. I lost her twin at 6 weeks but I believe the vitex is what caused me to release 2 eggs..GL and keep us posted.

Lcoots- thanks for the feeback I will find out in April I'm sure.... Yeah, I firmly believe in Vitex and all it can offer a woman who wants to conceive.... How long had you been taking Vitex prior to conceiving twins? How far are you now with your twins? Sorry about the loss of your 3 year olds twin sibling.... I am still full of all above symptoms all day and night, I feel as if I'm 5 months and I originally started at 115 lbs- I just have that full feeling! All my other pregnancies were the same basically no symptoms until 2 1/2- 3 months which only lasted for couple weeks....

I was only on vitex for about 12days before I O'd. Im 9 weeks pg with these babies. Yep I have the full feeling and I already look 6+ mo pg..course I was heavier starting out also..lol

Me too.... I swear I better be pregnant with twins I seriously look at least 4 1/2 or 5 months- lol..... Wow I'm so excited about everything.....

Also, that full feeling I've had since the first week I found out- kinda like you can't tuck in and you know why! lol....

Hi, I'm recently in a new state so I have to pick a new doctor and plus I wanted to wait until I'm past the scary part for first apt... My husband and I are scheduling the apt. on next Mon. (day off)-I'm going to request ultra sound for the same day as apt. and I will definitely update you...

Hi, snugglybugglys- not yet.... I went to clinic and got vitamins.... I'm approx. 12 weeks and 1 day.... A bit discouraged since I have to start off fresh with new doc. and new town- I know it will have to be scheduled soon..... Lorie Ann
