annala - My appt. went great! The u/s showed only ONE healthy baby! I'm so relieved!!! It was measuring the right size and we even saw the heartbeat! I did have a cyst on my left ovary and is in the process of rupturing. The doc said it should be gone by my next appt. in 2 weeks. I hope everything is going good with you. Keep me posted!

anothertripletmom- hello thanks for your respond. Yes I know my sil just lost her twins at 51/2 months by termenation the doctors sug that is what she had to do, She had twin to twin transfusion. She had this done sept 2006, I don't know if what she did was right by abortion, it was one of the hardest things the family had been through in awhile, so I know what you are saying about just being selfish and wanting twins when there could be a price to pay like the saying be carefull what you wish for and i don't want any regrets. I would like to say just by reading the post througout the internet it seems like a 50/50 to me on twins lots of women only have one baby. I am on the lowest dose 50mg and i refuse to go any higher for the fact of triplets or more so i ovulate but not every month i guess that's why it's been hard to get pregnat but i'v also talk to alot of mothers of twins and they had them natural on thier 4th pregnacy, And this is my 4th pregnacy but it's been 10 years so i'm not sure if this makes a difference? so i really just need support through this ttc time in my lfe so I thank everyone for being here.................. also the last 2 years i'v had unprotected s_x and the last year really been trying temps vitamins and so on nothing that is why i'm taking the clomid now this is my 1st month on it and i am undecided if i don't get pregnat this month i may try next month with clomid but no matter what it will be my last i will not take 3 rounds of clomid. I'm really not liking the fact of taking it now but, I really want to get pregnat and i feel like my body has let me down now that i really want one but, then again maybe its gods will that I don't have anymore. I don't know that is why i'm here looking for support and yes I did say I would love to have twins but, I think that is like a women thing, I think somewhere in all of us mothers we think twins would be awsome to have because its just two at once but, I will be happy with one that is really my goal "one baby" I just hear the horror stories of triplets and twins and what i'v exp with sister n law this year but with low dose of clomid or no clomid i'm 50/50 for twins anyway run in mothers family her mother sister had twins and a few others, my 4th pregnacy even though it's been awhile and I drink a half gallon of milk a day myself lol I love that stuff lol just something I heard about the milk don't know if it's true have a wonderful day/night thanks for listening and can you tell me about your triplets like how old were you when you had them, was it you 1st preg, were they early and how far were you when you found out, and how old and how are they now loved to hear thanks again for listening to all my bla bla bla bla lol bye.........................I wrote so much don't even know if it all makes since now...............bye

tenk- thanks for you respond that's awsome so you are in the mood lol with dh every other night now hu??? well just know my sil got pregnat with her twins this year naturaly and she claims she knows the only time they had unprotected s_x was 2 days before her period came so that tells ya you can ovulate as late as that so keep going all the way to the day of the af keep me posted.....one more thing my sil lost the babies in sept 2006 2 boys at 5 1/2 months to twin to twin transfusion but just thought i'd share when she got prego with them.................

to tenk- umm I meant sil got pregnat 2 days before her period was due to come.. and this was her 3rd pregnacy she has 2 children ages 5 and 3 and she is 24 years old.....so you never know we never knew if they were identical or fraternal

Hi again...it's funny b/c I'm always in the mood...sometimes DH is like, aren't you tired...LOL. I feel fine, I didn't really have any side effects, and I had a +++ OPK on CD 15, 16, and 17, and it was back to negative on the 18th. So I'm 2dpo now and I feel a bit bloated but hey it's life right?!?! I wish you the best of luck as well, and congrats to the lady that is 6 weeks preggers!! ~~~Teneal~~~

I took clomid days 3-7 50 mg. I also started taking progesterone and mussinex to help with any dryness. Geez it has been so long it is hard to remember. Oh I started doing OPK's day 10 and ovulated exactly on day 14. I had implantation bleeding for 9 days and some was even bright red. Good luck. Let me know if I can help with anything else. Yes, the girls are doing well and are a handful!!!!

twinmom2be-thanks i'm just going crazy i guess when i tell people i want to get pregnat they look at me like i'm crazy and say you already have 3 kids so why in the world would you want another one specialy when your youngest is almost 10 they say it like its a sin to have a big family me myself i knew i always wanted 4 children 2 boys 2 girls not sure if thats how it will all end up but i'm only gonna try this month its a 1 time shot for me with clomid i just don't want to take it i think after this month and no pregnacy i will rethink getting pregnat again i'll have to see next month its wierd my age really is starting to freak me out and i think i'm a little scared because i'v had 3 children but they were not planned and i was so so so young and now i'm older and i'm really planning a pregnacy i feel scared like i'm really thinking about everything all the way to the birth does this sound stupid? that i feel this way

My triplets are 3 yrs old now, all boys. I had 3 miscarriages before them. I was 23 when I got pregnant with them and only 5 weeks along when I found out I was carrying 3 babies. I delivered them at 32 weeks 2 days. They had a VERY tough time in the NICU, but no developmental delays. One of the triplets had a staph infection in the NICU that destroyed the growth plate in his left leg so he has to wear a leg brace. He'll have to have surgery in another 5-7 years to permanently correct it. I'm just thrilled he lived through the infection as his life was very precarious for a few days. I also have an older boy (adopted). I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant again with a surprise singleton. Another boy! Since you've been trying for so long to have a baby you might want to consider going to a doctor. After 2 years of trying there might be something (clomid or otherwise) that a doctor can do to help you. I definitely understand the ache for a child. Good luck.

angelblue-thanks but how many mg of clomid were you on and what days did you take it and was the twins your 1st pregnacy?

does anyone know how soon you can get pregnat after taking clomid and when should you start bd the day of last pill because on started bd on day cd4 of pill is that to early and now i'm cd9 so what do you think i should be bd now everyother i'm gonna bd tonight in case just untill someone tells me tommorrow on here when i should start the everyother........angelblue did you use an opk or did you just do everyother and when did you start bd in your cycle or anyone else that can answer this question? thanks babydust to me.......lol I just can't wait to know........maybe i can tell family on thanks giving thAT would be cool.....but i think it will be to early to tell then i'm not sure......

annala- use an ovulation predictor kit to help you time bd. Seems women ovulate a little later on Clomid than women with normal cylces - I took clomid days 3-7 but then I also had the HCG trigger shot to force me to ovulate on day 14 but with my other pregnancy I took clomid day 5-9 with no trigger shot and didn't ovulate until day 18 or 19
