Amanda- I too took my last pill yesterday, and this is also my 2nd month on the clomid. I took it days 2-6. How exciting!

Hi Gals - thank you everyone for the great info on clomid..I;;;m bummed today as I went to see my ob & she said the chance on 50mg to concieve twins is no greater than everyday chance...I felt like my heart fell to the ground....I likelly am gettin my hopes to high on just 50mg days 3-7 I was perscribed clomid for spotting. However I do know I O on my own I usually can feel it. The side effects I've had are head aches & bloating. I'm on cd10. Sounds like Amy & Amanda. D I'm 32. Sorry I don't have any info on Femera.

Kelli - I don't find the side effects too bad what amt are you on?

I am on 50mg and my ob said there is a 10% chance of twins on this amount so maybe there is hope if you wanted twins he also said that clomid can cause ovarian cysts and that he wants to check me in 4 weeks to make everything is ok. Congratulations Kim I hope everything is going well...

Lauren- your doc doesn't know what he is talking about. Clomid makes you produce more follies- I am living proof of that- I had u/s done last month, and I had 2 matures eggs. So don't get down about it- clomid does increase the chance!!!!

Sorry I haven't been as active on the board lately. I'm nine weeks today and the nausea hasn't gotten any better. I don't know too much about Femara. I have heard that it's better for your cervical mucous.

Thanks Amy appreciate it. Everything I've read makes me feel I have a chance (small) but have one. I had thought taking the 10 mg would make my chance better but, my script never came??? So Amy you had two mature foll. Were some of your other ones large also? Refresh us could you. Kim I'm sorry you are so sick...We will pray it goes away buy 3 mths. Are you getting big?

Hi Kim, I'm glad that you're still going well. Morning sickness is terrible I know. I was sick for 22 weeks with my DS and then started again at 30wks (he was born at 35wks). The only thing I can say is that morning sickness is at least a sign that all is still going well with the babies, which probably doesn't make you feel much better. We are all thinking about you and hope you feel better soon. I have a question for you...Did you get much ovulation pain? I have had it bad for 4 days now, and I have had ++++OPKs for 4 days also. I am wondering whether I might be hatching more than 1 egg. I would love to hear how you were around O time. Thanks Jaime.

Well, ladies, I'm 9dpo today, and I got a faint BFP!!! I'm so excited, and can't wait to test again in a couple days to get a darker line. I want to make sure I have a test with a dark line before I tell my husband, in case he wants to see it. It looks like all my crazy stuff worked! Thanks for the info, Kim.

Well, this was my first month ttc, and we were bd'ing every day but the two days that we spent in the airport traveling. I took 50mg days 2-6, and also took mucinex and baby asprin everyday after the last pill... still am acually. I did an OPK and had a spike while we were on our trip to DC, actually. I got the positive on the 4th of July...that was quite the night for fireworks! So, I think I o'd some time around the 5th. I ran out of op's so the last one I did was in the morning of the 5th, and it was still positive. So, I'm not sure how long the surge lasted. I've decided I don't like the first response pregnancy tests. I NEVER get a positive result on those...even though they claim to work early. This will be my 3rd pregnancy, and I've always taken both frpt's, and EPT's, and I always get a font positive (when I'm actually pregnant) on the ept, and never on the frpt. Tomorrow morning, I'll take another ept...and frpt, since I have them, and hopefully the line will be darker! Good luck everyone. Now if only I could somehow get an us in a couple weeks, so see what's going on down there. I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE there's more than one. But, right now, I'm just glad that I'm pregnant, and will be thrilled with a singleton also.

Lauren- I had 2 big follies on 1 side and 1 big one on the other. I also had a ot of little one too. I took generic clomid last month, and so this month I though I would try the brand name clomid to see if it works any different. I know some girls get more eggs on generic, and some get more eggs on brand name, so we will see. I have a cd12 u/s on tues, I will let you all know how it goes!!

Hi Ladies. =-) How many of you are having or have twins/multiples? How long did it take for the clomid to work? My ob/gyn is putting me on my first cycle of clomid August 9th. I really want twins. Any info would be great. Thank you. =-)
