Hi Lauren, I'm on day 10 and I think I will O in a couple of days. I too have been having a lot of twinges from my right ovary. And a few every now and then from the left. My last cycle was only 26 days due to clomid so I'm hoping that it will be the same again but who knows? I have my fingers crossed that you'll receive a BFP+++ in the next week or two!!

I am 36 years of age and have a 5 yr old boy; I would love twins for my last pregnancy. I am considering taking clomid. Does anyone know if there is an increase in multi p the more times you have intercourse in a given cycle (when you are ovulating), or does this not affect the overall number of fertilized eggs. When trying for baby without Clomid the dr suggested the more frequent the intercourse the better is this safe on Clomid? Please help!

Clomid can cause you to ovulate multiple eggs. It is recommended to have intercourse everyother day since it takes 48hrs for sperm to completely reguvinate. Kim got pregnant with triplets using this method. Two attached at the same time, one egg attached later. You can go back through the forum and read her posts. Whether she ovulated all the eggs at one time or at seperate times, is not known. BDing every other day certainly won't hurt your chances of having twins. I believe that chances of twins go up after the age of 35, so taking clomid should definetly help there. I hope this helps. Baby Dust!!!

Also, has anyone ever tried or looked into using Vitex? I have read that it can have the same affect as Clomid and produce more eggs. Any opinions?? TIA!

Hi everyone, I have read all these posts and I think the sucess stories are great. I am taking 50 mg's of clomid, yesterday was my last pill, (I'm almost on CD11 and my chart and physical symptoms suggested I either ov'd yesterday or will tomorrow. Even if it is early to ov, any kind of medicine works almost immediately for me, and I was looking at other women's charts on FF and some of them ov'd 2 days after the last pill, so at least I can garentee that it's possible because she got preggo.......Looking forward to reading some more.......

Hey everyone I just want to say that if anyone is looking for a fast and cheap way of getting Clomid go to the website that Kim had mentioned awhile back.. qualitygenerics.com they are great. I ordered my first batch of Clomid on 8/8/05 and received it on 8/18/05. The next thing is I understand all about when to take Clomid but when should we start doing it every other day?? right after the last pill?? or when I start to ovulate?? Kim--we all would like to know how you and the babies are doing?????

Hi, girls, I have a question about taking folic acid (pre-natal) vitamine. My family doctor suggested to me that I should take pre-natal if I'm planning on getting pregnant in the next 6 month or so. Can I take clomid the same time I'm taking pre-natal?
Another question, when do you girls normally take Clomid, in the morning or at night, before or after meals?
Thanks a lot, and Kim, keep us posted with your progress, good luck...

to zoe: thanks for the info. (Thanks to sheral for responding too :>) Zoe: i am not able to get much info on clomid from my dr. b/c he won't have anything to do with it. i understand, and respect that. so i am glad to have found this forum. i will be ordering the clomid this week, and hope to start next month. i am cycling right now. you mentioned that day 1 is the first day of "normal flow". so, if i started in the evening, do i consider the next day as day 1? (such basic questions... i know) and then do i take the clomid any other time during the month? or wait for the next menstrual cycle to start again...providing there is one? i also use progesterone cream to regulate my cycles do you know anything about using the cream in the process of conception? i have 2 children, want more, but my first 2 were breech so i had to have c-sections. my doctor said any other pregnancies will be c/s as well.i keep going back & forth on this clomid, b/c i don't appear to have problems with conception, but i just don't enjoy the recovery of surgery with having the 2 young ones. i like the idea of only one more recovery but have the 2 more (hopefully no more than the 2) with that one pregnancy. sounds selfish, and i hope i haven't offended anyone on the board. i know there are many women taking the clomid b/c they are having trouble, and i pray you all are to be blessed with children. Zoe thanks for your help. hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...:~> brenda

Hi Brenda, I think of it this way...If you wake up with af then count that day as day one but if you go to bed with af then count that day as day one even if it comes in the late in the evening. There are women that take their first clomid pill from days 1-5 or as far back in there cyle as 6-10. Luckily it's not too much of an exact science and will not matter that much if you were to start a day later or a day eariler. As long as you take them 5 days consecutively. You only begin taking the pills again when your next cycle begins. I do a pregnancy test before I take the first clomid pill...(just to make sure) and I always take them just before going to bed to help with the side effects for the next day. I don't know anything about progesterone cream - sorry. I've done heaps of searching around on the internet to find out everything that I can on clomid. So perhaps doing that will give you more info on the progesterone cream? What days and dosage of clomid were you thinking of taking when you start?
Hi Marina, I have been taking prenatal vitamins for the last 2-3 months in preparation for pregnancy. I was told by my dr. that it was fine to take both clomid and prenatal vits together. I take the clomid right before bed time.
