Hi, ladies. Has anyone had a significant increase in cm drainage. I haven't taken anything this month other than the clomid. On cd 21,22, and first thing today (cd23) I have had a huge increase in drainage. I have'nt had any problems the previous two months on clomid. It has gotten so bad I have had to start wearing a pad. The only other time I had this much was when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I was several months along when it started. Any opinions would be welcome.

Amanda - Are you taking progesterone? My doc told me to take that and it makes you have a discharge. She told me to wear a panty-liner. So if you are taking that, then it's normal.

Irene, Julie & Amanda - thank you for your postive thoughts...My anniv has been good! I have to agree perhaps my body is more use to it this mth as last mth was more symptoms today is day 22 I beleive & I feel "not pg" but, implimatation might not have occured yet thats forsure. Amanda I have to agree my cm has been thick & white & lots of it with every wipe??? Baby dust to all my cycle friends hope this is our mth!!

Hi all! I am crossing my fingers for everyone trying to get pregnant. I have 2 questions that I don't think have already been answered on this list. One, can you try to conceive the after the first round of clomid? I see so many talking about the second round being 100mg instead of 50, and I'm wondering if you tried to conceive the first time and it didn't work, or if you are waiting? ... Second question .... does taking Robitussin take the place of using Preseed? Or are both needed? I am hoping to start my first round of clomid on my next cycle. I am on day 12 right now. Only thing is, we will be overseas, and I am worried about the side effects of the clomid. But I don't want to wait either! Baby dust to everyone .... Kristina

zoe: good day to you. all is good. i ordered today, so i'll be set next cycle. i was re-reading kim's post from 6-8-05 and i need to know what the abbreviations mean. i see them used by others, and i haven't been able to 100% figure them out. so: what's AF, BD, & CD. what method do you use to determine when you ovulate? ( espicially if the cm is dried up. ) i've used natural family planning in the past, and solely relied on the mucus. so if i experience the side effect i read many others have had, what's the next best course to know? with clomid do you ovulate earlier than one normally would? thanks again...take care....brenda

to Zoe: me again... i just saw my order with quality generics didn't go through...as i thought. when i went back in... i missed to fill out some info. i didn't complete it b/c i have a question. i has a disclaimer on it that asks me to agree i am not taking it to become pregnant. well i have to say i am.... and thn it wan't me to state in my own words why i am wanting this medicine. have you ordered from here... or anyone else for that matter. has anyone said that they are planning to use this solely for the pregnancy part? there questionare makes it sound that this should not be used for that. i am CORN-fused!!!! let me know. thanks.... brenda

Brenda: Here a few abbreviations that might help: 2WW or tww= 2 Week Wait, AF = Aunt Flo (menstruation), BD = Baby Dance (s_x), BFP = Big Fat Positive!, CD = Cycle Day, CM = Cervical Mucus, DH = Darling (Dear) Husband, DPO = Days Post-Ovulation, O = Ovulation, OPK = Ovulation Predictor Kit. These are just a few, I hope they help. I used OPK to dertermine ovulation. I got a whole heap off ebay and tested from day 10 on wards. They worked really well. I also have a fertility microscope that looks at saliva and patterns in it. That helped but was not as accurate as the OPK's. I ovulated earlier than normal on clomid as my cycle was shorter by a few days. I bought my clomid from www.xlpharmacy.com. I didn't have to answer a question like that. Maybe someone else who bought clomid from there can help. Good luck for next month. Kristina: I waited till the second month with clomid to try and conceive. I used 100mg both times from days 2-6. Just a personal choice, but it worked out well because the first month my husband just happened to be away over O time - so it wouldn't have worked anyway! Just started my 2ww and I'm just hoping it all went to plan! I used both pre seed and robitussin to cover both bases incase one was not enough. The pre seed worked well and I think that it was the more important of the two!

Kristina...my doctor told me that you can take clomid up to 6 mos, he said if it hasn't worked by then then it probably won't. But that doesn't mean anything because I am on CD 15 and ovulated before I took the last clomid pill on my first round (doc confirmed it) so don't loose hope....if you want to see my chart, email me at marcopoloeggy@aol.com

To Courtney and Zoe, thanks for the answers. I will plan on ordering preseed. .... Has anyone else waited until their next cycle after the first round of clomid? Are there any indications that that increases the risk of multiples?

Anyone know a good website for preseed? I need it in less than 1.5 weeks. Or is it available in any stores?

What is the Robitussin and preseed used for?

I bought my pre seed on ebay and had it in 3 days. I also saw it at eithr Target or Walmart right after mine arived. I remember thinking I could have saved on shipping. Check out local pharmacys like CVS and Walgreens.

I can't remember where I saw it, but it would have to of been Walmart, Target, or CVS. I was looking for the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor at the time and those were the only places I looked and campared prices. Robitussin is used to thin the CM since clomid can make it hostile to sperm. Pre seed acts as the CM and helps with women having v____al dryness from the clomid.
