me and my husband have been ttc for about 1 yr. my obgyn put me on 50mg days 1-5, ive been hearing alot of people take it 3-7 and 5-9. what is a difference? little about me i am 24 yrs old i have irregular period anywhere from 40 to 60 days i do have a 2 year old healthy beautiful baby boy who i conceived on birth control lol so thought it would be easy to get pg guess not... would love to here success stories with clomid and ur experiences im on cd1.

Hi There,
I don't understand about the stages of when u take Clomid either, but I've been advised to take mine on days 2-6.
I think....the closer to when your cylce start, the chances of having bigger follicles are larger because I read one woman's story where she was advised to take Clomid abit later on so that the follicles wouldn't be so big?
Also, this would be dependent on the dosage, I am on my 2nd cycle, at 50mg and have no problems with my ovulations. However, now, I have 5 matured follicles....
So we have to see if they are cysts and i am not to take the treatment for the following cycle because of this, to allow my body to heal before continuing again.
