Clomid Effects

I havent had any side effects from clomid at all. Maybe a little dizzeness , but not sure if it is from that or from my getting a cold over the week. The weather is mighty chilly as it is -4 out tonight. I will take my last clomid tomarrow for days 3-8 rather then 3-7. The my hubby and I will attempt to make a baby or some babbies. Has anyone else taken clomid without any side effects at all. I do take them at night to lessen the chances of effects , but I am starting to wonder if it is working or not. Hope to hear back soon.

Hi - November 30

I was under the impression that you should only take it for 5 days and not 6 days. Why would you need to take it another day?

That is what my doc said as some of your best eggs are between the 3-9 days so he wanted me on the 3-8 . I dont question the MD. Dont worry I dont condemn those who do it U/P or otherwise . Your choice and yours alone. Baby Dust to you all!!!!!!!!!

Hi - November 30

I haven't taken it in a few years (it was prescribed) but I do remember having some side effects. I think you'll really feel it working when you're ovulating (some sharp cramp like pains where your ovaries are).

I will have to talk with my doc , but why is it that everyone on here says that it is during the O time that they feel the effects ? I thought we didnt take anymore during that time. Is it just like a timed effect that happens and you stop taking the clomid at the day your doctor says or do you start taking it again at that time to.

Hi - November 30

It's because clomid works by making you drop more eggs which occurs when you're ovulating. Hope this helps! And no you only take it for the 5 (or in your case 6) days a month.

thank you - November 30

Thank you for your input. Blessings
