Hello Newbies, this is a great forum, I read it for a bit before I joined as well. The women are really encouraging and it is nice to know you're not alone in the struggle to conceive.
Well, today is the BIG DAY....in a sense...I get to go see where my progesterone level is at (took the blood last Friday). FINGERS CROSSED IT IS EXISTING, since last time it was basically not there.
Baby dust to all!!!!

Reese- No problem girl, like I said don't bow out yet.. lol :)
Deb- Did you have a temp dip when you ovulated and then a temp spike? If you did it almost sounds like you are going to have a trispastic (sp) chart like I did! 6 or 7 dpo is usually when they say the egg implants itself, I was 6 dpo when my temp rose a second time! Good luck!
NMMB- Let us know how it goes, hopefully it is a good number!

So w have been talking about a group for awhile on Facebook - so I started one (it's closed, but once you're in the group you can see all the posts), it's called Hopeful for Success (I know a little corny but I was thinking on the fly).
Hope to see you all in it! That way we can share pictures, news articles or whatever to help us learn more or even to understand more of what we're all going through.

Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind that I'd like to be a part of your FB group. Though I recently had my baby & dont comment often, I've read every single post for over a year now and continue to pray for you all. I know that at some point I am going to try to concieve again and want to stay in touch with those that are trying too.
Desert-Flower - I emailed you my facebook info.
Argomez - how are you doing lady? the round that we concieved I had brutal headaches, dizziness and LOTS of cramping. In fact, I had bad cramping until I was 7 months preggo. I can't wait to celebrate with you the day you get your BFP!
Reese - I agree with the other ladies, you might have tested just a little too early. My doctor always said to test 14dpo to get the best result. I hope that you can surprise your bf with a +. If not this month, it sounds like your body is getting ready by doing all the right things. Here is to a BFP though :)
NMMB87 - Good luck with your progesteron test! Hopefully it's nice an high :)
Welcome to all the newbies too!!!

Deb- Did you try an OPK on cd 15, 16, and 17? What were your temps before ovulation? I am making up a chart to look like what you are seeing and I want to find your cover line, but can't without the temps before ov.
Mrs Daisy- We would love to have you in our group!

Deb- Not a problem, I had 6 months of charts.. not perfect at reading them, but hope I can provide a little knowlidge with all the research that I did. It looks like you ovulated on CD17... Your temp spiked over your cover line on CD18 so I am thinking that ovulation happened CD 17 for that reason. If your temp goes up again on CD 23-25, going over the 97.9 (your highest spike so far) than consider that a good sign for a BFP!If it starts tampering off close to the 97.4 range, consider getting your AF.. That is what I have learned from all my charts.. lol I would say you are only 4 dpo (but then again I am not perfect at these charts.) Keep me posted with your temps and I will keep adding them to the chart to see if I see anything positive! Good luck girl!

Trickyl- Thanks so much. I understand a bit better now. I went in blind thinking how hard can this be but it definitely makes you scratch your head. So, I am a__suming that the LH surge doesn't have to remain until ovulation, it just has to be present to indicate it is coming within 12-48 hours?? I was thinking when I check the day after a positive and it is no longer positive that meant I already ovulated but doesn't sound like that is the case? You are sweet to help me. Thanks again!

deb- Yes, once you get that LH surge you should ovulate within 12-48 hours, you should ovulate the day before your temp spike goes over your cover line. You can find your cover line by taking the first 12 days and take the highest temp out of that day.. Disregard the first or second day of your AF if it is way higher than all the others though. It only has to be positive that one day, mine were pretty easy because I always seemed to O right after my positive.. Yours looked a bit different. THat is what I have read about charting anyway. It was kind of nice to see how my body worked.. lol You are very welcome, any time I can help I will surely try!

Manjit- I had Laparoscopy surgery last nov due to an ectopic pregnancy and not to scare you but i was out of work for a month and it was the worst pain ever. I couldn't even wash or dress myself it was to painful. And i am having it again next week to remove my other blocked tube and i am not looking forward to it. I would ask your doctor to do an HSG test which is 15 min and can see if your tubes are blocked. and i also had a Hysteroscopy done that is when they go in with a camera and look at your uterus and they can see what is going on. And that is also done in office without surgical procedures. I just don't see why your doctor would go straight to a surgical procedure without even looking at what is going on inside of you. I would get a second opinion. So if you do go for the surgery and she sees nothing wrong then you got cut open for nothing ?? I don't understand that. Sorry for the long post but i got nervous for you as i know what that surgery is all about and will be doing it again next week.
Good Luck
