First of all....I am not giving anyone advice. I am new to this and putting my story out here-if you have a question I will answer it. Do I think it is pathetic that this girl is trying to have twins.....YES! The best part is that she will get them...and our taxes will pay for them.

I knew something was up with kendra.marie. When I read her forum and she said she was too young and that they were not prescribed I knew right then I was not going to respond to her. First of all..... you should never take any medicines that are not prescribed to you, if she brought them off the internet they could be anything. YOU ARE TAKING A GAMBLE WITH YOUR LIFE! when you use medicines that are not prescribed to you, you just don't know how your body will react. If something does go wrong you have no one to consult and no one to blame but your own self.

well I started spotting a bit heavier tonight. I hope AF is officially here. Boy this has been a rough month! I am ready to put it behind me and start fresh for the next month. I'll tell you, it is alot better to start your period WITHOUT provera, so now I can have a better idea when I am supposed begin AF. I'lll keep ya posted................

I just wanted to respond to Vij, but I don't know if she's still reading this board? Anyway, in about the middle of this thread, you said something about starting to bd five days after your last clomid pill (and every other day after that). if you O five days after the last pill, then you may have missed your "window". Your chances to conceive are best if the sperm is there BEFORE you actually ovulate, so you'd need to bd two or three days after taking your last Clomid pill (don't wait until the 5th day!), to give yourself the best chances (and continue every other day, in case you O later). SO I am on Day 15, took clomid days 5-9. I have being doing to OPK since day 12 and nothing! BUT I could swear I ovulated...does it always register on the OPK?

I am new to this site and am hoping for some encouragement. My husband and I have been ttc for only a few months, which I know is not long, but I feel as though my body is betraying me! I am about to start round 2 of clomid, at 100mg, and just want to hear that this is successful. It is so hard to be patient when you want something so bad! I am a teacher, and really was hoping to be pregnant with due date in summer months so I could transition out of job easily. I feel pressure and I don't think that is helping. I was on BC for 8 years and wonder if I made myself infertile... Just hearing success stories will give me hope. Please share!

Hoping1- Hi! I feel like we are in the same boat. My husband and I have been ttc for a year now. I am about to start my second round of Clomid (50mg). I am also a teacher and wanted to try to plan to have my baby during the summer, but don't think its gonna happen like that. Maybe we will have some luck soon!

hoping & elwood...I'm also in a similiar situation! I'm a teacher & am currently on rd. 2 of Clomid (50mg) CD3 7 w/ an hcg trigger shot on CD 14. However, I really wanted an April baby (which has pa__sed me by!), & was very against a summer baby. (although now, any month is more than welcome). I have a ds who was born in Sept., & that made for a very long school year!! Which is why I though April would be great...I'd have the baby, plus my maternity leave & then 12 weeks of summer...oh well. Now I'm hoping for a June baby! :-) I'm currently on CD7. How about you all?

meg- I took 50 mg of Clomid last month on days 5-9. This month they want me to try the same thing. This Friday will be day 35 and if I don't start by then they will give me Provera to make me start. (which I do not like) This is all so hard. I have always loved children and can not wait to have my own. I do not have any yet. My husband and I have been together for eight years and married for two. I have to agree with you now that any month is more than welcome.

Hi Meg & Elwood. It's nice to hear I'm not alone. I feel like I have isolated myself even more than normal because I don't want to tell people we're trying so we don't feel pressure... is that silly? I am on day 3 of cycle, and will start clomid day 5. I read about the Robittusin, too. Does anyone have any positive experiences with this? I was thinking I might try it this time. I am still hoping to get preg. now and have due date be June or July, but will settle for just being successful. El-I have been put on provera the last 3 months because my body couldn't get started on its own. I have not had any of the side effects and it has brought on my cycle each time. Hopefully with the clomid I will be successful this month! Again, thanks ladies. I needed some girl talk and some cheerful support :-)

Elwood-I have also taken Provera a few times & do not care for it at all...it makes me really moody (I'm usually a fairly nice person:-) & gives me really bad headaches. I have also taken Prometrium, which is basically the same thing, only it is supposed to be better for your body because it is more natural. You should ask your dr. about it. Even if you don't get AF, are they going to keep you on only 50mg of Clomid? I'm a__suming that if AF doesn't show that means you did not O, which would mean the Clomid did not do it's job...? Maybe you are pg??? Hoping, I have not taken Robitussen, but I have taken Mocinex, which is basically the same thing. I take it the day after I finsh Clomid, & I take it for about a week, it's supposed to help your CM, since Clomid can make it hostile. I also do not like to tell people that we are trying, although there are some people who know, because then everyone keeps asking, "are you pregnant yet." & that gets depressing! Hopefully this will be a good month for all of us!

I know how you feel. I have people asking me all the time if I am pregnant yet. Then, you hear well what are yall waiting on. It's hard to hear that all the time. I have never tried the Robittussin. I read something about someone trying it though. Meg-The Provera made me real moody too. My doc said I could try the Prometrium if I wanted this next time if I didn't start but I sure hope I do before Friday. They wanted me to try the 50 mg one more time before they increased my dosage. The 21 day prog. test said I did not ovulate last month. I am also struggling with all this because my doctor moved two weeks ago so I am in the process of looking for a new doctor.

I need help. Okay fri on the 21st I started spotting a bit heavier. I thought for sure AF was coming on. But, it started clearing back up to it's vey light brown color to the point where it was no color at all. Sunday my husband and I had intercourse. When I went to the restroom I saw what I thought was AF. I was so relieved. So about a hour later I went to the restroom and NOTHING. I said okay it will be on for sure by today. again NOTHING but very lil light brown again. What the heck is going on with my body? does anyone have a opinion on this. I called my doc. she scheudule my appointment on Oct 1st a week away. If i start AF before oct1 they want me to cancel and start round 2 of clomid. Friday was day 33 and today is 35. Elwood and I are having the same problems. I can't stand provera. I am very depress and moody right now. Some one pls respond. need comforting words. Thanks.

geewife1 ~ Hi! Have you taken any more tests? Can your doctor order blood tests for you to go and do before the 1st? I'm still holding positive thoughts for you that it's implantation bleeding :) It just sound like it..........My thoughts are with you!! To all the teachers :) I am also a teacher and did one round of 100 mg clomid on days 3-7, with a follicle scan on day 12. They determined there were 2 eggs, nd have us our "homework." It worked, and we're expecting May 19th. I've heard really positive things about 100mg doses and days 3-7. I know it's doctor preference though. Maybe try it that way if you can!!!
