Ok....so day 23-pretty crampy and sharp pains in my v____a(normal?)...I went for a blood test today for progestrone level...not so sure why though...anyone else have this done? I know it means it is checking for ovulation but on Day 23? When is the soonest I can check for pregnancy?

Nicole-I think normally docs check progesterone on day 21...maybe they did day 23 since 21 was on a saturday?? I also think that high progesterone can be a sign of pg. As far as the when can you test, I've heard of ladies getting a BFP as early as 9dpo. How many DPO are you? Good luck!!!

Meg, So even if they were not testing for Preg they could still tell from the level of progestrone? Interesting....I hope this is it-I keep having period like cramps though! Ugh....I ovulated (I think) last Monday....so 8 dpo-BFN today, but I am impatient!

Thanks Ladeyshape and Meg, baby dust to you all. Is Mon night, I will be doing my preg test this Wed morning, can't wait to find out, but i try to keep calm. My morning sickness was better a few days ago, my nausea started to come back last Sat, which I see it as good sign. hhehehe. Nicole1980 - My doc said even though you are pregnant, your progestrone and estrogene will proceed like normal cycle then go back again. I wasn't too sure, because I talk to her on the phone. My estrogene was 900 & Progestrone at D16, then dropped slightly 890 & 48 on D17. My doc said I could still be pregnant... so I am counting down now. Will let you know what is the result. My progestrone is 36.74 so I definatly O'ed. I can test on 10/7 (my wedding anniversary!) Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!

hi ladies. Nicole I had my prog. level tested for ovulation last month on day 23 & it was 127.2. And I wasn't pregnant either. I have a question hope someone can help. I did clomid days 1-5 150mg today is day 8 & I have had twinges & back ache & now spotting a bit of brown. Do you think I O'd this early?

Good luck Nicole & PL!! Rowan, I would think that you could have O'd all ready. I think w/ Clomid you typically O 5-9 days after your last pill, but it can be earlier (don't quote me on those days though!) I had my tigger shot this morning & I aksed the nurse what she though about the possibily of me have already O'd & if so, what the shot would do. She said it would make me ovulate again, but I really don't think she was too sure! Anyway, here's to some good bding the next few days!!

Meg ..thanks for the reply. I would think that you will O again w/ the trigger. Maybe you will be the next twin momma! Happy bding. Quest. We bd friday night about 11& I think I O'd this a.m around 7. So 55 hrs later would sperm still be around? Can't beleive this has happened I'm so bummed we weren't expecting to o yet. I just started my Robitussin Yest.

Hi, I took another hpt and it was negative. I thought I would try to retest a week later but there still isn't any change int he results. My brown spotting has stopped today I was happy to see that! I went to the doc this afternoon and she order a blood preg. test the results will be in tomorrow afternoon. My doc said she think my period was trying to come on because of the brown spotting, Anyways if the test is negative she is going to give me provera again to induce my period, she also up my dosage of metformin to 1000mg she told me to ask the pharmist for a different generic brand name because anything over 500 mg makes me sick. she also up my doasage of clomid to a 100 mg with a follice scan on cd12. Most likely I am not preg. but I still have small faith but it is okayif I am not this cycle because my next cycle will be a lot better with the higher dosages and the follice scan. Geewife1 ~ I'm glad your Dr. upped your Metformin and Clomid. That's a positive thing :) Try to get the brand name Metformin (I think it is Glucaphage.) My friend got sick on the generics, but had no problem with the brand name. I am so excited you go in for the follicle scan on day 12. As you know, I swear by it!! No guessing!!! Best of luck :)

Good luck Nicole1980, it would be wonderful to fall pregnant on your anniversary, so romantic!!! Rowan - I think it is possible to ovulate early, because I was in the same shoes, clomid on CD2-6, ovulated on CD10. Just give it a try, no harm!! :) Meg - My fertility dr mentioned to me before eventhough we might ovulated a few eggs, all of them will be ovulated within 8-12hrs. She told me we cannot ovulate twice in one cycle. Hope this info help, good luck!!

Hi ladies, have you heard of "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne? My fren introduced it to me abour 2 months ago. I have been practising it since last month after I finished the book. I find it really help me to go through tough times and be positive thinking. I love the part which it teached us how to visualise and be grateful of what we already have every day, in our case, to have healthy babies. I have been visualising everynight before bed, from good folicles, ovulated 2 healthy eggs, fertilised by strong sperms, implantation, to + preg test, announcing us expecting twins to family and frens, giving birth and finally holding my 2 healthy and beautiful childs on my arms. It takes awhile, but its all worth it. a few people thinks that I am going nuts, including my hubby at first. After I explained it to him, he is more cooperative. I find myself very happy during and after visualised. I feels like as if I am in heaven!!! also, I tell my self I am preg with healthy twins everyday. PL, can you please give me a little more on what your fertility dr. said about ovulation twice...I'm not sure I completely understaood. For ex., I got my trigger shot yesterday at 9am, say I O'd on my own at 2am that same day...just 7 hours prior to my trigger shot. What effect would the trigger shot have? Geewife, like sammommy said, the follicle scan is wonderful...it takes all of the guess work out! I wish that I was getting one every month, but last month my dr. said that after having my scan on CD13 & seeing mature follicles, that is how they will be every month. Goos luck to you!
