Hi Ladies. I have just finished first cycle fertomid 50mg days 5-9. I had terrible hot flushed and today feel crampy and yucky, is this normal? Should I increase to 100mg nxt cycle if unsuccessful?

simon91: i am takin clomid day5-9 but last time my p's came after 33 days. after how long do you feel the smpt of pregna? and what are the smpt. Mt doctors has not send me for the blood test nor a scan so i dont know if i am ovulating or not.

Hi Vij, If I were you i would be asking my doctor for a blood test or a scan. As for symptoms, since staring clomid I got cramps when I ovulated and then they went away but this time the cramps didn't go, on day 22 i got a very light brown spotting when I used the bathroom (i have a 28 day cycle) after that i got dry irritated eyes and nausea, at first i didn't think much of the nausea because i had that each cycle since being on clomid anyway, day 28 came and no period, still have very light on and off cramping now. Hi there! My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about 2 years now. I have been diagnosed with PCOS since about 17. My OBGYN prescribed me 500 mg Metformin 3Xday and we've been doing that for the past year, no luck. Now we're moving on to Clomid 100 mg / day. I'm so nervous and excited. I haven't had regular periods in a long time. I'm wondering how much luck people have had with Clomid and having similar problems. I appreciate any advice! Thanks! Good luck to all!

Hi Niccolerichardson, clomid's been a miracle drug for me, I have PCOS and conceived on my 3rd cycle of clomid. Good luck, stay positive and you'll be fine :-)

Hi every1, i'm so sorry to interopt but i was just wondering if any of you can PLEASE tell me if clomid can cause identical twins and also how long does it take for the split egg to implant. I greatly appriciate the help

salymamy : No clomid does not cause identical twins as they are random and can happen to anyone and do not run in families. clomid can only help you release more then one egg and if both or more are fertilized then you get non identical twins/trips

simon91: Hi as it was too late for ovulation kit i just went with my instick. when i take clomid day 5-9 do you know when im most fertile?

Hi Vij, you should ovulate 5-7 days after your last tablet. How long is your cycle? mines 28 so I usually ovulate on the 12th or 13th

Simon91: last time my cycle was 33 days, before that as i was on diantte i used to have a cycle of 21-24 days.

Vij, from the research that I've done you should ovulate 5-7 days after your last tablet, if you take clomid on day 5-9 you should ovulate around day 14 15 or 16

Simon91: Thanks alot for that, its really nice talking about the expr of using clomid. Hope this 2nd cycle works for me. i have started getting cramps like the ones for periods, so i dont know. there are time when i feel like vomiting and my eatting habit has gone up. << wish me luck >>>>

Hi Vig, you know I had period like cramps when I found out I was pregnant and still have them on and off, apparently it's quite common, as for the nausea I had that as a clomid side affect, I also have it now to. But just stay positive and when the timing is right it will happen. I wish you the very best of luck, keep me updated :-)

simon91: i dont think i am pregnant, as i have not got the other symp like freq unrination, darkening ard the nipples. The only ones i have is the period like cramps, and my b___st are hurting which i normally get when i am near to periods. for the past 2 days i have a really bad somach pain, which is gone when i use the loo. After my bladder gets full, the pain is back.

I am 29,PCOS TTC. I have been on metformin since June'06, no success. Started clomid, estradiol, prochieve 8% since Jan'07. I am o on 100mg clomid, this is my third cycle. Please help me. Are there any tricks you have followed to get preg??? I am scared to death if I think of the next steps I need to go thru if clomid 6 cycles dont work.. THanks, and baby dust to all of you.
