Heya Krissy - Ahhh thanks for thinking of me hun... I am doing fine... Not good and not too bad, just very very very anxious.... Oct 10th seems so far away... I am counting down. I don't expect that I will have a natural period by then so hopefully they will get me started on the Povera straight away. How's things going with you? Did your specialist prescribe Povera for you immediately? Keep me updated on whats going on with you... Take Care Hun!
Dianapj68 - Told you these guys were good lol!!! It really pays to do your own research hey! Hun my best advice to you would be to START! there is no harm in trying and allowing your body to give you the opportunity to produce god greastest gift... give yourself a chance, and go through it like a warrior... ha ha im starting to sound like a movie! Good luck hun... Please keep us posted!
Jodie-ttc-08 - I am goin to post a good luck charm on here everyday from now until next week lol - just to give you some encouragment, my Fiance says that this website has become my second lover... ha ha. Take Care Girls

First of all let me just say I LOVE Krissy68. You are a real inspiration!!! I was reluctant to post but after reading a couple of your comments (not judgemental and being SUPER supportive) I found the courage to write. TTC for over 1 yr, tests showed I don't ovulate every cycle. HD in Finance (big crisis now...) so money will be issue. Long story short we can't afford expensive treatments and docs. If we spend 25K on treatment we will be short when baby comes. Considering taking Clomid 50 (no prescription) on 3-7, with Baby aspirin and Mucinex from CD8 until o and LOTS OF PRAYER. I know about the risks so please don't make me feel worse than I am already. All I am looking for is support and answers from people who want a baby as much as we do. Thanks a million!!!

I was a little nervous and forgoto to ask... Where can I get Clomid? When should I take the Aspirin and Mucinex? How about Pre-Seed? When taking Clomid, do we need to trigger o? How? Again, thanks a million?

Hiya Aline! Welcome to our page - I am sorry hun I can't really give you any advice on trigger shots and pre-seed. I havn't even started clomid yet! But I do have an appointment on the 10th of Oct to meet with my 1st ever Reproductive Endo. My partner and I are very excited. I like you have not ovulated in about 3yrs maybe more? I have PCOS and an absense of periods for up to 4 yrs. I know your concerns about money. My fiance and I had the same struggle for 2 yrs, which is one of the reasone we had to postpone our ttc. It is only in the last year or so that we have managed to save and and have been lucky with our jobs. So trust me I understand what you are going through. And it seems that bad and unfortunate things always happen to good people. I don't have any personal concerns about you taking unprescribed clomid, as I don't know the effects of it. But my personal advice would be to pay a one off fee to see an RE, just for a consultation and some advice. Really up to you though... All of us in this forum will be here to chat and help you through it!!! Baby Dust and Good Luck!

Ha Ha - Heya Aline.... No probs, I am happy to be of help...! My Mothers work friend had her 2nd child with the help of Clomid, and she was 43, 44 when she gave birth to her baby boy. Her 1st child was adopted. She always wanted to adopt so she never thought about trying for a baby until her adopted child started to get lonely. There's some encouragment for ya! She ttc for 3 years and finally went through the Clomid procedure and I believe it took her 2 rounds to fall pregnant, the morning sickness, soar b___sts etc kicked in straight away! Where do you live? Just wondering, as I am seeing an RE in Sydney, Australia. She charges $165.00 for an hour consultation. I'm not sure of the conversions rates oversea's, but I believe that price is pretty good considering many RE'S charge anywhere between$200-$300AUS. Anyways enough finance lol... Yeah the one of consultation would be a good plan, just so you know what to look for and what to do after you finish your round. You don't want to be left at a dead end and not know what to do next, seeing as it is unprescribed. Good luck hun, keep your head up and you can do it... we all can! This site has helped me so much. I have gained so much more respect for myself since being on here... I actually believed that it was my fault that I couldn't start a family, but I now realise its not! So many women go through the same thing, even worse. HA HA - I feel your excitment.... I get very excited when I recieve a notice in my yahoo inbox to say that someone has replied to a post in our forum! Its a very bad but good addiction! Tak Care Hun.. keep me posted!! Baby Dut to you toooooo... Saying my prayers for you!

samantha08 - Hey girlie I am here just now being able to get to the site. Anyway how are you doing today? Not much going on with me. I have never taken provera but I do know it will make your AF come on quickly. I'm just preparing myself for AF arrival cause I know she is coming. I did another test last night 10dpo and it was neg again. I am currently cd 24 11dpo 8 days straight of taking the progesterone gel I have one more left and then I will have to get my refill but that is going to cost me $50 and I'm not sure if I want to spend it right now when I have some other things I need to take care of I will think about it. This is the longest I have taken it so that's good. I will let you know. Anyway I think AF will be here in a few days just like clock work. I am not feeling anything no symptoms or anything I just have to go to the bathroom and poop (sorry tmi). Take care and I will talk to you soon.
Aline - Welcome to the group and you are so welcome I will try and help you all I can. I know some of the ladies have gotten their clomid off the internet not sure what the name is but you could always do a google search I hope this help.

ok.. here's what i know.. the usual range for progesterone is around 10-15.. good is considered 20... well i am great... i scored a 32... which is positive for ovulation, way beyong the normal range.. so i suspect that perhaps maybe i released more than one, or a really good one... so now, i have to wait yet another week to test for pg...

according to my dr.. i was not ovulating on my own... so i am a very happy customer with clomid... and that was round one, lets hope i dont need to do round 2 or more..
ALINE... trigger shots are only administered by an RE who has prescribed clomid and is observing your progress. if you take unprescribed your on your own. no blood tests no scans. it's a personal choice.. i ordered online but never recieved them. i am in australia, it is banned here.. wont get past customs. took me 8 months seeing a dr before he finally gave them to me.. was sent for numerous blood tests, scans, dye tests, sperm test. etc etc. clomid only helps if your not ovulating on your own.. and if you are, it can have an opposite effect, makes it harder to concieve.
have you got monitors or urine tests for ovulation.. are you taking your waking morning temp?
