Hi Everyone,
I started my first round of clomid on Dec. 1st , 07 unable to concieve for a year and a half. I am usually irregular so I didn;t know when I would ovulate. I was late as usual but didn 't think nothing of it since its normal for me. I took 2 preg tests both neg. Today I went to see the doc believing that I would need another script for provera and start taking clomid all over again, but instead my doc did and test and I found out I am preggers. :0) Baby Dust to you All!!

Hey girls, I hope everyone is doing well! I did not have a positive in Dec. and I am now back on 150 mg, CD 20 and right smack in the middle of O'ing. I am glad to read about the lighter periods b/c that has definitely been happening to me and I thought I was going crazy. The 2 times I have been preg. in the past, I still bled around af time, although much lighter than normal. These lighter cycles have played tricks with my mind! I am praying this month it works b/c my DR will only let me do Clomid one more month after this one and then she wants to refer me to a specialist for Art. Insemination and I'm not sure how I feel about that. It would be much easier for it to happen now! But I guess if things were easy for us, we wouldn't be here! Good luck to everyone!!

If you have light af's on Clomid, it means it's thinning out your uterus, which isn't good. The heavier af, the thicker your lining was. You need a good lining for implantation. I think the best thing to do is to get an ultrasound to see how Clomid is effecting your uterus lining. They can give you progesterone to help with that and make everything better :-)

hi to you all. I'm new, 29 and in my first cycle on clomid 50mg. Today is day 25 and i can't wait to do the test. i am glad to see I have so many buddies on this site that actually understand this stressfull time and go through the same. Have felt so missunderstood, the more because my friends don't have a wish to become mommies. i'll keep u all posted. Does anyone know what the chance is to succeed this first cycle? Many successtories to be read elsewhere?

*Anon* - I have also heard that the lighter the flow, the thinner the uterus. I will definately ask my doctor about it but I am not too worried about it thus far. My progesterone level at 7DPO last month was at 45 which was higher than it ever got when I MC'd. Thank you for the info. I'm so glad I found this place, it really has helped so much! How are my cycle buddies doing? **Sarah** I love those names!!! My sister-in-law is due next week and we don't know if it's a boy or a girl! If it's a girl her name with be Gianna Kathlene and if it's a boy his name with be Gage Steven. Both very cute I think! As for me...I am in love with the name Layla Ryan for a girl. My husbands name is Ryan but since he was little, everyone has called him Buddy! As for a boy...who knows!!...and twins...OH MY GOODNESS!! How about everyone else??

Hi everyone! Welcome to all the newcomers and congrats to Christa for her BFP! ***Billie-I teach 6th grade Language Arts. Where are you? I teach in NC. Sarah and DJ-and so begins our next rounds.... Here's hoping for good news this time ladies. I love, Sarah, that you are making your plans for a babysitter! :). Go for it girl and good luck! How old are your boys? Kimmer-how are things? Oh, btw, I like the names Kennedy for a girl and Jackson for a boy. If we ended up with twins, a boy and a girl- we'd name them Bennett and Brady. I'm not sure if both girls, but if both boys, probably Jackson and Brady. I hate to get my hopes up but it's fun to plan, isn't it?! I like the name Ryan for a girl- that's cute! Sarah** I really like how you are incorporating your culture. My DH and I are both Irish, so maybe I can use your story to win my fight for the name Liam when the time comes :-).... Hope things are running smoothly cycle buddies!

Hoping (DJ2)** you made me smile. i like that someones taking something from me.... and yes, LIAM is a great name. we thought of that too for our boys but my oldest son (51/2) name is Damien and my younger son in Rocco(21/2). Rocco is a little bruiser so my thought is to pick nicer names.... makes for nicer babies!! LOL. JK, hes the most loveable baby ever--id never trade him for anything:-) but next kid will have something tender.... gentel! ____ On another note, i wondered if anyone else ever had shifting thoughts that taking the clomid might be asking for too much.. its hard to say,i just hope we get one or two babies this next try--- not more, im scared! anyone else have these feelings????

Oh Sarah don't cry!!!! What days are you taking Clomid?? Are you taking them CD2-6? I wonder how our doctors come the the conclusion on what CD's we should take the Clomid? I am supposed to take mine on CD5-9 and was tempted to try CD3-7 this month. Probably isn't a good idea to be switching things around...what do you think? *Hoping and Sarah - I love all of those names! My DH and I even discussed the whole Ryan as a girl name today...how funny! Not only are we cycle buddies but we already think a like!!?? Yeah!!!
