i know that most people think they might be having twins during thier pregnancy...i told my husband the same thing. at first he really thought we were having twins. he had a dream we had twins. i am now 14 weeks, and have had two ultra sounds to make sure everything was okay. the dr. said there is only one baby in there! BUT...as of 3 weeks ago i've gained a total of 12 pounds and i'm not over eating....my stomach is hard and i have a visible belly. to me, i look about 6 months pregnant (this is what i looked like when i was pregnant with my daughter at 6 months) i've had a dream that i had twins, and i know a few people who didn't find out they were having twins till the end of thier pregnancy, or untill they were born. (the ultra sounds didn't show two cause one baby was hiding behind the other, doing same movement, and had the same heart beath. so, to all you mom's to be who are carrying twins, from what i've told you about my wieght and belly, what would you say?

When I was 4 months pg with my daughter I was huge! I thought for sure there was 2. ...there was only 1. When my mom had my brother (second child) everyone thought she was having 2 as well b/c she was SO big. I think second babies "show" earlier since your uterus, muscles, skin, etc. has already been stretched once. Good luck!

thanks! i went to the dr. on wednesday and i lost one pound and had another ultra sound. ONLY ONE BABY!! for sure there is only one in there, but the baby is growing and is much bigger than last time!
