is there any one out there who has gone 40weeks carrying twins?

Hi...yeah, my good friend went 39 weeks and 6 days with her twins....everything looked really good and the Doc said...they will come when they're ready. She was miserable, but afterward was glad she wasn't induced. She didn't even have an epidural. They were 7 1/2 lbs and 8lbs.....and SO HEALTHY! Good luck! Quick delivery, too!

I know of a lady who went 40w2d and her twins were 8lbs each...so yeah it can be done. You need to eat tons of protein(follow the blue ribbon baby diet by Dr. Brewere) and REST, REST, REST. Good Luck. I carried mine to almost 38.

I went to 38 weeks, 1 day after being induced. My OB said he delivered twins at 40 weeks, 5 days once. They were both over 8 lbs. each. How far along are you now?
