im 38weeks preg with twin girls and the docs told me that they want to take me to 40weeks is this dangours for the girls as i throught they only let u go to 38weeks max. has any actually gone 40weeks?

I know a couple of people who have gone full term (40 weeks). I think that as long as their fluid looks good and you are doing well, and that their BPP look good it should be fine.. but I am not a doctor

I was induced at 38 weeks, 1 day, but my OB said he had delivered a set of twins at 40 weeks, 5 days. I guess the mom was comfortable still and the babies were doing good. I on the other hand begged to be induced. I was worried something might happen if they went further (I'm a worrier).
