I am definitely pregnant. I have not had my ultrasound yet. My 1st Prenantal visit is January 23rd (which I'll be close to 4 months). The OB/GYN DOES NOT perform Ultrasounds before 20 weeks. Unless they feel a need to do so earlier. My symstoms are: Extreme fatigue, fetal movement at 7-8 weeks, Baby everywhere! Let me explain..My other pregnancies were very comfortable and no tension or physical stress. Nor did I become uncomfortable until about 9 months. Well this pregnancy I feel pregnant everywhere all at one time..In my back, in my side, under my br___t, and close to my pelvic bones. I have a lot of pressure and the movement is unreal. When one side is moving there is something else rolling around and feels like it's being pushed out the way. Then that one will move, and at the same time, something else fluttering at another spot. If I had to compare with a single pregnancy..The amount of pressure and fullness of baby I would say I was 7 months. But I'm only 14 weeks. Someone please help! It's bad enough I went nuts convincing the doctor's I was pregnant for the last 3 months. Now I'm biting my nails because I know it's more then one...But HOW MANY????

Kim... I am totally feeling for you!! Maybe on the 23rd they will hear more than one heartbeat with the doppler....and then they will send you for the ultrasound... i'm stressing out myself because i still feel very preggo but am getting all neg tests and am getting quite ill... i've been put thru a million tests and will find out results on monday... if they all come back neg, i will have to look for a u/s to comfort me.... i will admit after having researched it, my symptoms also line up perfectly with hyperthyroidism... but i dont think that explains my very sore b___sts, tender nipples, stabbing cervix and lower abdominal muscle twitching... i swear that i felt something move in there too, but convinced my self that it must have been gas... i'm trying not to obsess... but well... you know how it is...lol..... I will keep you in my prayers hon, I read on your other thread about your anxiety regarding how to afford so many children... remember that if the lord brings you to it, He will bring you thru it!!! I believe that children born with birth control, were definitely meant to be because God had a harder time sending them, and had to wait for a perfect time..... I believe you have been blessed. :o) I'm here if ya need to chat...even if I turn up not preggers. Please just pray that if i am not preggers, that they can figure out what it is and FIX it so i can live a normal life again.....

Would you like to be pregnant? I can definitely pray for you to be. I guess I am blessed but I'm terrified and I've never been scared of anything. I do not want a CSection and if there is more then 2 then that would be a possibility. As far as me being pregnant...I think LOVE has everything to do with it. Being pregnant or wanting to be pregnant was the farthest thing from my mind or wants. The pa__sion and love that I have for my husband is enormous and words can not even explain. Since I remember what night it happened, all I can say is the only thing I wanted more in the world at that moment.. was to make love as long and as good as I could to the person that brings fire to my heart. (TMI?? ..LOL) And I think this is when everything spit_tual kicks in and all the physical is thrown out the door. Then BOOM earth shattering emotions and something has to come out of it. Then I get pregnant..Birth control and all..I hope to others trying out there it's not insensitive advice :-( But My True advice to any woman is "STOP TRYING" enjoy the lover of your life and focus on the love that you have for each other. Then the baby will come more naturally.

I would love for my "issues" to be from pregnancy...mine would also be unplanned, but also welcomed, as my husband and I are very much in love and only have one child right now.... I couldn't agree with you more about wanting to make love with the person you are married to, and getting a baby as a surprise gift for your love is a great way to describe it... after all, back in the early days of life, before the female reproductive system had been studied, that's exactly what everyone did...just made love, and if they were meant to have a child, they conceived.... that was such a great way to describe it Kim! I also know exactly which night it would have happened... :o) Unfortunately though, there are some folks with fertility issues that do need to plan it, and I think that is what makes it so frustrating to them... because sometimes they are no longer able to enjoy making love when it has to be timed just right... does that makes sense?

Kim - if there's more than 2 babies a c-section is more than a possibility. It's a definite. With twins they'll let you attempt a v____al delivery if the babies are in good positions (and even then it doesn't always work out like what happened with me) but with trips or more it's an automatic c-section because the delivery is too risky otherwise.

KimMcCloud - January 14

Ohhh and I failed to mention the getting up and peeing 4 times in the middle of the night. So do the symtoms seem about right for more then 2? I never wanted to be cut open but I want what's best for the babies. I just pushed 1 good time and baby flew out with the others. Also my stomach is shaped weird. I like the positive stories...LOL A friend of mine has 2 identical twin girls. Both weighed 7 pounds and some ounces. She had no idea until the other one came out. she had an Ultrasound but one baby was seen. But I might not be that fortunate...Maybe I should let the doctors do the work. No pushing for me. And not going into laber is something I've never experienced. I'll try to keep my head up.

Kim, has your OB told you that your were larger for dates? Meaning that your uterus is larger than it should be based on the dates you gave him/her. Long before you have an ultrasound the doctor can tell if there is a possibility of multiples based on your size and if he or she hasn't noticed any thing out of the ordinary as far as size goes I would have to say it is doubtful you are carrying multiples. At this point you would certainly be larger for dates.

KimMcCloud - January 19

Well I will let yall know what the OB says after my Jan. 23rd visit. But it is rediculous (in my opinion) for someone to be so out of tune with themselves that she could NOT tell she is carrying more then one fetus. My exception would only be to a woman that has never been pregnant and this is her first pregnancy. But I have delivered 5 children and each was a single pregnancy. I can definitely feel that there is more then one and I've known for quite some time.

Hey Kim... well I had my appt today and I am not preggo. They are thinking maybe I have PCOS....sooo lots of testing to deal with. But I am really anxious to hear about your appt tomorrow and how many are in there!! Please keep us posted!! :o)

time4more - January 24

how did it go?????? :o)

KimMcCloud - January 24

Well they saw one baby and say I'm only 7 weeks pregnant. They're nuts! Just watch and see..I know my body and how pregant I am. Also before they did the in-office quickie ultrasound. I showed the doctor the blood pregnancy test taken on Dec 20th. She said it's negative you were no way pregnant on Dec 20th. it is Medically Impossible. So I said, then if I am more then 4 weeks pregnant what do you suggest? (just being a smart a__s) She says I will definitely do some research on the error of the blood work. I think it's funny. Why can't these fools just except that my blood, urine, and hormones are just screwed!

time4more - January 24

ok i have researched this because i really feel just like when i was preggo, even tho i'm not. I found a description and you can print it out and give it to them... bmb.uga.edu/icgr/program/abstracts/Khanlian.pdf it basically explains that hcg is not the main hormone, and that tests should be testing for H-hCG instead... it's really interesting. I believe you know your body. Def keep us posted!!!

time4more - January 24

also, there is a girl named seetha on the First Tri board that never got a positve blood or urine test, and her ultrasound shows a baby...

KimMcCloud - January 24

Thanks for that info! I am definitely printing it out. Also what other organs in your body beat like a heartbeat?? any knowledge? Because I told her to move that prob to where I felt baby (not where she had it) She said there were things resembling heart beats but some of my other pulpitating organs and for right now she could see the one baby. It is located at the very base of my pelvis.

time4more - January 24

I don't know about pulsating organs...but i do know there is a major vein/artery - not sure which located along your stomach to your groin that does have a pulse...but a baby would move around and the pulse would not be in the same spot all of the time, where as the vein/artery would be....does that make sense??

KimMcCloud - January 24

So basically I just need to wait until I b__w up huge and mesmerize all these doctors...LOL! I really feel like it's more baby then she looked for.

time4more - January 25

did they schedule another ultrasound?
