Hi everyone, just wanted to give an update. Today I am at cd28, 13dpo. Breasts are killing me, I did get too test happy and tested way too early - on the 25th& got a bfn, so I am trying to hold out and not test again til' sunday. Last cycle I got O on cd12, and af on cd32. This month I got O on cd15, and am praying like no other that there is no af this month. I figured I would wait until cd 32 to test again and that is sunday. It's wed. now, so I have 4 more days to go. I am exhausted all the time, I feel like I've got a mild case of the flu, bb's are killing me, I have no energy, my sense of taste is crazy, everything seems really strong tasting, I am getting dizzy, I've gotten nauseus several times, but haven't actually "gotten sick" if you know what I mean. I don't know if these are pg signs or af signs, I am praying HARD that they are the former. I suppose I could test today at 13 dpo, but I am going to fight it (see that's my bad side trying to talk me into it!!!) until sunday - I will be at cd32, 17dpo. Wish me luck and strength everyone.

Hi Alisa....I am 11 days behind you at cd17 today. I got a +O test yesterday, DH and I are bd'ing like bunnies.....poor guy, lol. Not many people post here anymore. If you look in an earlier thread, big118girl said that alot of people are on "Anyone take clomid days 1-5". Her and I both post there now and there are a few more friendly people to chat with.. Good Luck to you.

Well, Last month was a bust. This is round 3. Still on 50mg. When I had my checkup on the 13th, the doctor didn't think I was going to ovulate, he said there were a couple on the right side, but they wouldn't mature, and there were 2 pretty good sized ones on the left side, but he had a feeling they wouldn't mature either. This was friday. He said I should ovulate by monday at the latest, and if I didn't, he wanted me to come in immediately for another scan to see what the problem was. I didn't ovulate monday, so I called, tuesday I called, Wednesday I called. FINALLY I got someone to return my phone call. She made me an appointment for the next day, and I was to go in for a scan to see why I hadn't ovulated. The next day, dh and I went out for lunch and I kept getting "the O pain" in my left side, we went home and I did a OPT test, and sure enough . . it was positive, So we BD immediately. LOL. I called the doctor back and told him that I was ovulating and he said that I didn't have to come in since I was. I ovulated on cd 18. I am currently @ cd 25, 7dpo. I have been getting my period (faithfully) on cd 32 every single time, and that is exactly 14 dpo for me this month. Hopefully it will work this month. I heard somewhere that if clomid doesn't work by round 3 it's usually best to move on to something else, because it prolly won't work, and it's not too good for you to take for a very extended amount of time. My dr. says if I get my period, I am supposed to keep doing the same thing. Have my clomid filled, and take it cd5-7, make an appt. for cd 14 to have a scan to see how many follicles have developed, etc. I am sure hoping this will work, please send me some good baby dust this month. Thanks for checking up on me.

I know this is a weird question. But i want twins, would they put me on clomid just because. I have 1 son, im new to this stuff! Don't mean to sound dumb LOL!!!

AlisaD - June 22

I don't think so. That wouldn't be a very good thing to do. I don't think it's very wise to take FERTILITY medicine unless you have a fertility problem. I don't think any doctor would prescribe fertility medicine to someone just because they want twins. Besides the likelihood of having multiples is only 10% with clomid anyways.

can anyone please help, iv been given 100mg of clomid by my gp and i forgot to ask what days to take it on, i took it on days 2-6 for the 3 lots of 50mg, but want to increase my chance of twins so what days r best. my email is emmamerthyrtydfil@yahoo.co.uk if anyone can help

AlisaD - June 29

The normal days to take clomid are 3-7 or 5-9. Each doctor recommends the days by the set that usually gives them the most sucess. Like for me, my doctor has told me to take mine on days 3-7. I don't think that taking them on a particular set of days will help you conceive twins. There is only a 10% chance of multiples anyways with clomid. For the rest, an update on me. I am a faithful cd32 af'er, and today is cd32 and still no af. I had some cramps like af was comming earlier today and nothing happened. Usually as soon as I feel the cramps I start af. On my 1st cycle I O'd on cd 17 & Af-cd32, 2nd cycle I O'd on cd 14 & AF-cd32, this is my 3rd cycle of clomid and I O'd on cd18, today I should have gotten AF, it's CD32, maybe tomorrow???? My temps have stayed up 98.6 and higher for the last week, with the exception of cd 26, 8dpo (possible implantation dip???)here are my temps since O. 2dpo-98.0, 3dpo-98.7, 4dpo-99.1, 5dpo-98.7, 6dpo-98.5, 7dpo-98.5, 8dpo98.3, 9dpo-98.7, 10dpo-98.9, 11dpo-98.6, 12dpo-98.8, 13dpo-98.7, 14dpo-98.7, so they've all stayed up there, with the exception of that dip there. Please keep me in your prayers.... TTC for 5yrs, 1m/c @11 weeks (8/17/2002).

I'm so glad I came across this forum. I recently saw a fertility MD and will start clomid with IUI next month. We have been trying for over a year with m/c last Dec. I have been using the Ovacue Fertility monitor and LH strips (off Ebay). Both tell me ovulation different days. It has been frustrating to sat the least! At my first fertility MD visit, I was a bit overwhelmed with info and don't think I asked all my questions- what goes into IUI? Good luck to all. PS- I would love twins too!

hi, I was on clomid (not straight) many different times from 99- 03 with no luck. I never had regular cycles but blood work always shows nothing wrong. During that time we found out my husband had problems. He had to get 3 surgeries at once to improve our chances (the main one they inserted a tube to make the sperm flow faster). A year after his surgeries I got back on clomid. Nothing. I got very discouraged. Plus suffered from cysts on my ovaries. they went away on their own after I stopped using clomid. I am now 33 (i have one son from a previous marriage who's 8). I waited until June of this year when we had things calm down so to speak. My doctor gave me a pill to start my period (can't remember the name) Then once I started I took Clomid on days 3-8 of my cycle. It was 50mg this time (I hadn't been on it in over a year about 1 1/2 yrs) I found out in mid July I was pregnant. I went to my regular dr who did a blood test to confirm & don't see my ob/gyn until the 14th of this month! I am reading that because of my age & Clomid there is a pretty good chance of multiples! I will let you know when I know. Thanks for posting this question!

I also forgot that this time he made me take prenatal vitamins when I started my cycle to help. I guess it did this time! He had given me the opti nate vitamins.

Hello to all--So I also am on the clomid bandwagon, hope it works as well for me. I started on day 3 post AF, first day was spotting then 2 days of flow then I took my first pill. The problem is that I am not flowing, I completely stopped after taking the first pill--I hadn't really had much of a flow to begin with, not like normal. And no I am not pg, my husband is sterile so we have to turkey-baste it. Which we are planning on doing this next O--if it happens. I have twins every generation in my family so I won't be surprised if this happens, I may fall apart if there are more though. So has anyone noticed the disruption of flow when taking the clomid?

AlisaD - August 10

Actually, I have PCOS and my periods are sooo irregular. I had to take a med to get my period to start, then I started taking clomid on days 3-7, and I have been doing this for. . . this is month 5 and my periods are completely regular, I now have a period on day 32 every single month all by myself.
