Hi, Tara, Corona, hello, all the nice ladies around, Tara, so the glucose test in two weeks... Hope it goes well for you and the results are satisfactory. The comment about the brother being tired of looking at another's b___t made me smile - you have great sense of humor. Corona, I absolutely agree with you regarding your comment that we care about each other, or at least this is how I feel. I was so glad when I found this forum. I felt so close to the people I've never met. Most of us are in the same or similar situation. It's so important to share, support and simply make others smile. We are maybe from different countries and live in different parts of the world but we care. Wish you all the best. Lily

Hi Candice, Michelle & new comers, well I gave birth to my beautiful little girls on the 25th Febuary, by a v____al birth, all went great!! Ahliyah Hasana weighed 2.550kg (5lbs 9ozs) and Ryleigh Kenisha weighed 2.040kg (4lbs 8ozs) They were exactly 10mins apart. We were in hospital for 10 days, they had feeding tubes down there noses for a few days, as they were too tired to feed! But all is going good. My son gets jelous, but he loves them heaps & is very protective of them..Will try and get back on here soon, but they are calling me now!! Take care and talk soon xox

Hello Everyone! CONGRATS CB! How wonderful! Good for you! My girls are exactly 10 mins apart as well! Were they both delivered head down? Did you have the epidural! What a rewarding feeling, finally having those two little girls and it sounds like you did a great job! Are you back at home? Do you have someone helping you for the first little while? How exciting! Well let us know how they are doing, and you as well! Hi Vicki, How far along are you now? I was hoping for boys as well, we have 5 and 3 year old daughters so we were really hoping for boys! When we found out they were girls, I won't lie I was a little depressed, but the fact that they were born safe and healthy was all I wanted! Good Luck and let us know what they are! My girls are very identical, I have a hard time telling them apart when they are seperate! If they are together I have no problem I can tell right away. CB how are you making out, I know a lot of people say identical twins sometimes don't look a like when they are born but mine sure did! Do you have any trouble telling them apart? Can't wait to hear how things are going! If you have any questions just ask, I know talking to other moms of twins has made me feel more comfortable as a parent of twins, you sometimes think you are going crazy but it is nice to hear that other people are going through what you are! Talk to you soon!

Hi ladies!!! Just a quick hello, Thank you everyone!! Candice both the girls were head down, so that was really good! It was a long night for all of us, I started getting regular contractions at 3pm friday afternoon, and went to the hospital around 4-30pm, than had Ahliyah at 3-16am and Ryleigh followed at 3-26am. I did have the epidural, and that was so scarry. She put it in first, but it was in the wrong spot (it sent an electric shot down my leg) so she had to take it out, and put it in again! It was so scarry... Than it only had an affect on my right side, most of the time. So they had to strengthen it. In the end I never even pushed Ahliyah, she just made her own apperance!! I can tell them apart for now, because Ryleigh is smaller, but she is quickly catching up in size & looking alot like her sister. I am such a proud mother, and am very very happy to be home!! Will keep you all posted, good luck to you all with everything, talk soon & take care xox

congrats cb! I'm so happy for you. I love their names too. Are you getting any sleep yet? Just teasing! LOL Spencer was smaller than Corbin so I was able to tell them apart pretty easily, but just like you... I am having a harder time now since Spencer is catching up. Did you get to stay in the hospital with them for those 10 days? I would have loved to have been right there with my boys....but 2 months is a long time to be away from home with 2 more kids! The epidural experience does sound scary! I had a similar experience when I had Sammy- the epidural only took on 1 side. I didn't even bother having one this time around. unfortunately, that meant they had to put me out for Corbin's birth, but can't go changing it now, right? Candice, I was a little depressed too when I found out I was having boys, b/c we were trying for a girl, but I wouldn't trade them for the world. How are things going? Hectic here- I'm up for the day today at 3am...ick. Babies are finally settled in and now I have to get ready for work in a few minutes. But, I put my notice in and my last day is the 17th. I am going to try this SAHM thing! I have never NOT worked since I was 14 years old! But, being a SAHM is work....I am struggling with the both sides of the coin, can you tell? The nurse came yesterday and Spencer is up to 10lbs and Corbin is 10lbs 10 oz. Whent he nurse comes again cb, I'll ask her to convert to Kg for you! LOL Glad all is going well. How are all the preggies? Lily, have you had that other u/s yet? Anyone know if they are having boys or girls? Keep us posted. I love this thread. We are all connected in a special way through our little ones! It's been a rollercoaster ride, and its so nice to know there are others out there that are going or went through the same thing!

Hi Ladies. Good to hear that everything went well with the delivery CB. My girls were born in the early morning 2:30 and 2:40! Michelle glad to hear that the boys are doing well! My girls are now at just over 12lb. CB I am also such a proud Mother, can't help but want to show off my 4 beautiful girls! How is your son reacting to the babies now? Is your partner doing alright with everything, or feeling a little overwhelmed! Michelle How old are your boys now? We are on a pretty good schedule here, try to stick to it daily. The girls get up between 6 and 7 am, then they eat and nap at about 10:30 for 3 or 4 hrs, then are up for playtime nap again about 5 for an hr and then they are in bed at 9:00pm. It is wonderful having them down early, gives my husband and I an hour or two with all the children sleeping, as everyone knows is mostly impossible in the first 3 months. Keep in touch ladies.

Hello ladies, how are you doing? Michelle, I had the u/s yesterday and guess what - they found the dividing membrane!!! I was so excited when I could see this thin white line between the babies - that's a first relief. I hope everything goes well in the future. Wishing you all the best things in the world. Lily

TaraBush - March 13

woohoo lily !!!!!!! Im so happy you finally got some relief. :)

Candice - March 13

Hi Ladies! Congratulations Lilly on the membrane! What a relief, I know a big weight has been lifted off your shoulders. How are the babies doing? CB, how are you doing? Are you getting any rest? My girls were sleeping so well through the night and now they are up several times a night, not sure if maybe it is a growth spurt, or maybe we will have to make their bed time a little later so they will sleep longer! How is everyone else doing? Feeling? and how are all those babies??

goldlily - March 14

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Have a good day everyone. L.

Candice - March 20

Hi Everyone! Just thought I would check in to see how everyone is doing? CB, you must be very busy with the babies at home now! How is your oldest reacting to the babies? When you get a minute(I know is just about impossible) I would love to hear how your girls are doing! My girls are 5 mos now. Hard to believe, it really does go by so fast! Things do get a little easier as you start to find what works well for you and what the babies like! I think once they start walking will be the true test! My other girls were little goers and I can't imagine having two of them running in every direction! Well good luck to all of you still expecting keep us posted on how the pregnancies are going! Talk to you all soon!

hi ladies, well we have had a very big week!!! We had a catagry 5 cyclone hit us on monday morning. We are all good, lost part of our roof, and we ended up under our floorboards (about 2 foot high) The girls slept through it, and my son slept through most of it!!! That is the scaredest I have ever been in my life! we are now staying with my partners brother and his family, they have a set of 5 year old boy/girl twins. We have to move our stuff out of our house. The computer got saturated, but it still works (YEAY) Anyway, the girls are doing great, I cant beleive they are a month old already. I started them on formula yesterday, my milk supply isnt as good as it was, (too much stress!!!) But I can still express for them a couple of times during the day! My son loves them so much, hugs and kisses them ALL the time, hard to keep him away when they are sleeping! Well I have to get going, and will try to get back as soon as I can!! Take care xox

Candice - March 26
