My case is rare. I had a hetero ectopic pregnancy, where one baby was in the womb and one ruptured my right phallopian tube. I underwent emergency surgery, they removed the tubee, confirmed the twin was in the tube and therefore very terminated, yet somehow I lucked out and baby 2 was OK in the uterus snug as a bug. That was back in November at about 17 weeks prego. I made it to 40 weeks and should be expecting very shortly now!

There's something that's called Vanishing Twin Syndrom. Where, when detected very early in pregnacy, maybe at 5 wks, that one twin can reabsorb itself back into blood. Or the lining of your uterus.
