Hi mama-beans, haven't heard from you in a while. How are you feeling, how many months are you, have you found out the s_x of your baby yet?

Hey "who cares" thanks for bumping this up for me.

Hello Megan! I am doing great. I'm 21+ weeks and am up 12 pounds ;-) which is better then I did last time! Tired all the time... but then again what pregnant lady isn't?? We found out just last week that we are having a BOY, which is both exciting and terrifying all at the same time! We're completely stumped on names, and I want to pick one soon so I can start to introduce DD to the idea of baby brother __________. I have been spending a lot of time on another forum, just a startup forum that has a long way to go. I moderate the TTC/Adoption section, but right now there isn't much to moderate! Most of the users are young SAHM's that are just looking for entertainment each day, so there isn't a lot of really serious discussion going on, but a lot of sharing between moms... hopefully that will change soon! I like the sharing stories and current events, but I am a gal that likes a good debate! How are things with you??

Hey mama-beans, glad to hear you are doing well and congrats!! Little boys are so much fun!!!... I think "who cares" is mama beans #1 fan Tiffany :)

Megan - February 3

Ooooh, that's great that you're having a boy. I agree,Tripletmom, boys are fun. They are more work but they are so adorable. Nothing much going on here, I'm trying the soy this much. Figure I don't have too much to lose. I'm taking a smaller does that others recommend and I think it's having a positive effect on my cycle. So my fingers are crossed that this is my cycle. Yes, Tripletmom, "who cares" does remind me of tiffany the unregistered.

Hi TripletMom! Are your 3 boys?

mama-beans - February 3

Megan, Good Luck to you!! It WILL happen sooner or later! Are you just taking Soy or are you also on Vitex / Red Raspberry leaf tea or some other? I know Frances is having a hard time right now ( she posts on the other forum from time to time) and her cycles are all messed up.. and that started when she got on Vitex and Red Raspberry leaf tea.. Just isn't right for her, I think. I know she went in for some blood work to see what the issue is. Just wondering if you're on the same regimine and how your body is handling it!

Megan - February 3

I stopped taking the vitex a day after I started the soy. I didn't want to do them both at the same time. I'm still drinking the red raspberry tea (I found that I really really like it) and have to order some more. I try to drink at least two cups a day, I used to have it at night after dinner but found I had to get up during the night to pee so I stopped that. I started temping/charting this month and I didn't want any excuse to have to get up during the night. Oh forgot to mention that it seems that the soy is helping with my cm, I've had more egcm this cycle that last month. I haven't been able to bd when I wanted to because my dd fell out of her crib the other night (broke her collar bone) and she's been in our bed. I'm going to try to get her to sleep in her crib tonight but when she starts crying and pleading with me I have a hard time saying no because she has a sling on her arm, poor thing. Needless to say it's been very traumatic for all of us and it hasn't helped in the baby making department.

mama-beans - February 3

Oh my goodness that is aweful about your DD!!! That is a big fear of mine... byt my DD seems to be made of rubber. She falls all the time and it doesn't slow her down at all! Good to hear about the soy! In what form are you taking it? What dosage?

Megan - February 3

I think I'm going to have to get the crib tents because she wasn't trying to climb out. She was crying and wanting me to take her out of the crib that she was leaning over the railing from her waist. She fell right on the top of her head and I think my heart stopped. I have never been more scared in my life and when the ambulance, firemen, policemen came I could barely talk I was crying so much. I've been feeling so guilty that I didn't go in right away when she started to cry to be picked up but I thought she just needed a few minutes to calm down and would lie down in her crib. I walked in right when she was about to fall. I don't think I'll ever get that image out of my head. I feel like such a horrible mother and even my husband made a comment about maybe not trying for another one because we (meaning me I think) can't handle the ones we have. I know I couldn't predict that she would fall (she's never even tried to climb out before) but I still think it's my fault. Anyway, to get back to your question, I'm taking the Walmart Brand (the bottle is downstairs so I can't read what it says) and I'm taking 120 mgs of soy isoflavones (3 pills) on cd 3-7. I usually O on cd12 (which is what I'm on today) so I think it moved my O date up by a day or two.

Oh Megan sorry to hear about your dd's fall. Please dont feel guilty. Doesn't it seem that they get the most hurt right in front of us??? My oldest dd was playing right in front of me when she tripped and went head first into our wall unit and got a concussion. I felt horrible. I heard that the crib tents are wonderful. Mama beans.. 2 of my trio are boys and then I have 2 girls (one triplet) and 1 10 year old. There is a HUGE difference between the boys and my girls. Sure, they are going to be more of a handful when they are smaller, but girls get you w/ puberty !!!LOL

me! - February 3

hey triplet mom how old are your trio? wot did u call them?

me! - February 3

oh yeh triplet mom i just wanted to ask...how do you manage to have so much time to write in the forum? where are you babies when you are here? i thought that with 3 there would always be at least 1 crying!! lol! you must be a great mom, able to cope with it all!!

mama-beans - February 3

Yes... I am so attached to my dd.. I am nervous about being able to attach to a son the same way. I'm not worried about easy/hard.. it's just that I am a girl, I know how to raise one, you know? Since I am the primary caregiver, a huge responsability rests on my shoulders to raise my little man right, and I am worried about doing a good job! I'm sure it will all even out once I have him, but in the mean time I sure have done sone nail-biting!

yetanothertripletmom - February 3

Yeah!!! Congratulations on your BOY! I love baby boys! My triplets are all boys and I have an older son as well. Four boys. There is something very special about the relationship between a Mommy and her son. You'll love it. I'm glad to hear you're doing well.

TripletMom - February 3

My trio is under a year old and I wont list their names or pictures on internet sites. There are TOO many wackos out there. Anyway, in response to "ME!'s" question - I am not on the forum that often and the times that I am on the babies are either napping or sleeping for the night. I do have things under control, thanks. I had been TTC for so long so I fully enjoy my kids (all 4) and KNOW how lucky I am.

me! to tripletmom - February 4

thats good! i totally understand that you wouldnt put pics and names on the net coz its true there are so many weirdos on the net that have crazy thoughts. anyway congrats!! you must be so happy, trying to conceive 1 baby and then you get 3! nice surprise! but i know you must have went through a lot of suffering to get this far, what mixture are they? boys/girls i mean!
