HI ashley.. I think her ultrasound is going to be on the 9th.. But I am not absolutely for sure.. On one of the posts she put her e-mail but I can't find it for the life of me,lol.. I probably just keep going over the same thread.. its rather hard to decipher them once you've started reading.. I hope she comes back to check in now and then and look for threads like this.. But I have a feeling she might be gone for good (she said she was somewhere)..

Hi Ladies, I've decided not to speak on some threads. Because they are only about me being a liar. My U/S is on the 11th and my email is: mccloud_kim at yahoo.com. Also if I have only one baby in there. Then what can I do? LOL I've only stated what I feel ;-)

Well I thought I might say...which a lot of people probably wont understand. But I did not go to the appt. The reason being is the office is far from my house, they do nothing, and I have the appt for the genitic counseling and U/S on the 11th. So I figure that would suite me fine. Then after that I would set up a prenatal. This is just me, and I can't help the way I am. It's not because I don't care. I just think my thoughts and factors are different. I think for some people they NEED to go to the doctor all the time. And they need a doctor to tell them every little detail or they don't know what's going on with them. A doctor has never told me anything I haven't known, also they have been wrong with many other things. During the time I was being bashed..I was told what if my baby dies in uterine?? Well maybe this is someone elses concern. If this was to happen..It is going to happen regardless of a doctor doing constant U/S. Lets be real now. The baby can die in uterine at any time even in the doctors office. My true point is..I know what is in me is healthy. I have enough movement during the day to know all is well. Also I am growing, and I don't feel anything is seriously wrong. I also feel as though I'm a veteran...LOL And being pregnant isn't new to me. I just don't have the negative feelings of all the complications everyone says I will have. Overall all it's a good pregnancy. And if I have 1, 2, 3, or 4 it was done naturally and I just have beliefs that my body wouldn't produce something that it could not support to it's fullest. ALso it would not have gotten pregnant if it was not meant to be. This is just my deep hearted beliefs, and makes me the person that I am. And I think that's when the bashing came in. People not respecting me for the person that I am. I really got bashed about the placenta thing..Placenta is an annoying thing for me. It very well doesn't affect other people...But can I argue someone who doesn't feel theirs? No I can't. It just happens to be that I can feel it in the middle of the night sometimes and after meals. Almost like a trinkiling/pumping feeling. But that's just me! And some things annoy me. And I just felt as though this time unlike any other time..I feel it on both sides. Maybe it is something else. But what the heck! Feels like Placenta to me! LOL

and just to add about Placenta..it bothered me so much that I felt EVERY time I delivered it. And it was just as much relief as delivering the baby. And the 3rd placenta/afterbirth was painful and I had bad contractions to get it out.

Most people has contractions when pa__sing the placenta! Choosing to not go to the appontment is very irresponsible when your pregnant , even more so if you feel you may be having multiples. I will never understand your selfishness!! That/those baby/ies is/are so much more important than how far the drive is! A multiple pregnancy is HIGH RISK! Get a clue for you child/rens sake!

True, a child can pa__s away in uterine at anytime, BUT being monitored by a DR so they can see how the baby(ies) is/are doing and what is going on in the womb and cervix very much helps this from happening. Many babies have been saved because of close monitoring by DRs. If you feel so strongly about your body and everything is sunshine and rainbows and that all DR's have been nothing but wrong when it comes to your body, then don't even go to the DR or labor at a hospital. Why don't you just bite on a piece of bark by a creek to give birth? I'm sure everything will be just fine.

what is with the negetivity? The woman didnt say she wasnt going ot have prenatal care she said she didnt go to one appointment because its far and they weren doing anything at that appoinment anyway! Good luck the 11th Kim, I waiting to hear the news.

Corona-these are YOUR opinions. I am a nurse and I can agree with Kim on some of these points........ Every prenatal appointment was the same. they measured you, took your blood pressure and checked the heart beat and asked if you had any questions.... She IS going to go to the U/S and that will indicate alot. Leave her alone! Mind your own if you don't like what she has to say. She has come here for support not to be bashed. So if you can't give support go away. Kim I'll email you.

Some of you need to take your own advice...Mind your business if you don't like what someone else has to say. This is an open forum & if you put yourself out there expect reactions.

Wow! I'm a little speechless. I don't think I'm selfish at all. I would have been selfish to have an abortion for an unwanted pregnancy. At this time I am dealing with it the best way I can and preparing for the arrival. It is a joy feeling life now that it's in me. But unfortunately it is not something that I was trying to do or waiting every month for with bated breath. Nonetheless I will try to do the best I can and try to what's best for my children in my own way.

Corona - "Choosing to not go to the appointment is very irresponsible when your pregnant" You are insulting to my intelligence. Let me tell you what my appointment consist of: weight, blood pressure, and listening to the heart beat. Now I am a C.N.A. and my husband a nurse. I can hear my blood pressure at anytime with the equipment we have at home. I can check my weight on the scale in my bathroom. And as far as the babies heart beat. I know their alive! And I will SEE them on the U/S on the 11th. You have you own serious personal issues. You can say whatever..but I'm not responding to any other ignorant statements by you.

If I am wrong on the 11th I will apologize, however in the mean time if you're so sure that you're having multiples you could have heard both heartrates ot the doctors office & stopped all the suspence. The fact that you chose not to makes me wonder.I have never know a woman who would not chose proper medical care for herself & unborn child while pregnant.Just because you claim to have had 5 children already does not prepare you for a multiple pregnancy. You seriously have no clue.

You are a CNA (along with designing websites), your husband a nurse yet you seem to have many doubts about DR's and all of the medical profession. You should be getting the best treatment like all the other nurses and doctors I know since they have the connections. Also, I have a scale and a sphygmomanometer but I would monitor myself along with every single appointment I had and would never replace my OB appointments with my at-home, amateur, medical evaluation. Along with weight and blood pressure, they test the urine for many things, check you for edema, hopefully do an u/s or check for heart beat(s), measure the uterus and go over any questions that you may have. I guess you and I are different in every single way possible.

samehere: This will be off the subject I know, because you are bashing KimMcCloud. But I want to touch on the medical field for a mintue with you.. You seem to have such great faith in the medical field, and that fine with me. Yet I would like to tell you about what OUR medical professionals did to my father!! He was missed DX for 6 months.. This is not from the families lack of trying, because believe me, we were at the ER EVERYOTHER DAY!! And when I say everyother day I mean it.. They were constantly telling me father it was his siactic nerve that is hurting his side and back.. HUMM, well 6 months later a new doctor in the ER, and guess what.. A blood clot the size of grapefruit near his liver.. Well that was a shock.. 6 months into and this is what the new md found out.. Well they stuck him in the hospital for about 5 weeks.. They stated they couldn't remove it, BECAUSE IT HAD GOTTEN TOO BIG!! What perhaps 6 months ago they might have been able to do somthing... So he couldn't go home because at this point he was havnig a hard time breathing, and scrodum was the biggest thing I have ever seem.. So they transfer him to a nursing home.. Where the doctor saw the wrong patient, stating she say my dad. And she stated my Dad was "stable".. Nope my father was so low on blood at this point when they tryed to get him up, he pa__sed out.. Calling 911, going back to the ER, and there they incubate him.. He recovered from his tubed about 3 hours, and all he freaken needed was BLOOD!!.. So the MDs were talking about taking his tubes out, when they decided to sedate him.. "he was pulling on the tubes".. As my mother and I were at my fathers beside we whatched the what payalitic drip down the tube to his arm, That's why they actually KILLED him.. His heart rate started dropping, They called a Code, and guess what that doctor said to my mother and I, "There was nothing they could Do".. Hey mister why don't we turn back these clocks and see what you guys could have done!!! Wow this makes me so angry and sad.. This world has lost one of the most giving men llive, and guess what, THEY KILLED HIM.. At that point I stopped working in the hospitals as an LVN and stayed home with my children.. The medical field is full of mistakes and errors, they are normal people trying to act as if they know things.. But they don't,, They read the tests and then they tell you what they say.. They don't go beyond the test.. Investate, NOPE, just X-ray, CTscan, CATscans, ect. You have just better hope that if you ever have somthing wrong it's very apparent and they will find it.. I don't know if I sound like a weirdo posting my story, but I feel like anyone who defense the medical feild is a fool.. I no long am a nurse, and I don't very dare to admit it to people.. There are too many stories out there like mine.. Oh Yes by the way, I do get my pental visits and go to the MDs for my pregnancy, DO I put much faith in them, humm NO, but I know they will let me see my little one, and they will listen to the heart beat,, That's all they really can do..

I am terrible sorry about what happened to your father, but I'm afraid that that has nothing to do with the situation of pregnnancy.

Kim-my suggestion is to just ignore comments.... Its your body. I am a 100% believer in your own intuition. I would have known with my two pregnancies if something was wrong with the baby. I am an advocate of prenatal check ups, but in the very beginning in my opinion except maybe for the routine blood work its pointless. Untill usually 12 weeks you can't hear the heart beat via doppler, and in my ob clinic they don't do U/S's until 20 weeks unless there is a question regarding due date. Back in the day, they never had prenatal appointments and the fancy things they have now, and our parents and grandparents survived! Sheeesh people. I don't think she is being irrisponsible at all. She has had 5 pregnancies so far not including this one, Im pretty sure she's a vetran at this. She is in tune with her body.
