i was just wondering how many ladies out there that have conceived while taking clomid, and have had singletons or multiples. i am talking about 35 years and older. i heard that doctors sometimes don't prescribe it to older women. thanks

I'd be interested to know this, too. My doc just barely prescribed clomid for me and I'm (almost) 34. I've only been preg. once but lost it. Hopefully this clomid will work out well. :)

Me to . I would like to as well. I am 35 years of age have been taking clomid for the last 9 months now and nothing has happened for me.

I am 35 and just completed my 4th cycle of clomid 150mg, cd10 today and hoping this is the last month for all of us!!! Hopefully in the next month we'll all be reporting sucess with clomid!

lorih i am 40 and currently remarried to a younger man 26. We want to have a baby together. What days are you taking your clomid and what is the dosage. Are you being monitored by a doc or are you taking it unprescribed?

Oh, also to the other ladies 35 and over how are you doing? Have you had any side effects and what days and dosages are you taking clomid?

My doctor was not going to monitor me but I was having pain on my left side, which has a blocked tube and didn't want to go through with the progesterone if I wasn't going to ovulate on the right side. I went in yesterday for an ultrasound and found out I ovulated on both sides this month. Very painfull! Good luck

I am 35 1/2. I have three children from a previous marriage. (Divorced)Two were conceived with Clomid. I have been married for just over 4 years and I have a 3 year old. Had a miscarriage 11/05. This is my first month on Clomid (50mg). Day12. We are praying that it will not take long.

Hi girls, well I am only 21 but my mum is 40, and is currently 8 weeks 1 day after taking just one round of clomid.her and her younger hubby (30)
had been trying for over 3 years when they fell pregnant unasisted, but when she started getting bad pain she got worried and went to docs, she found out at the scan that she had an ectopic pregnancy, and also a normal pregnancy (twins) but due to the ectopic the normal fetus had died, mum had a d&c and also because of all the damage had an ovary and tube removed. This was a little over 2 years ago, after 2 years of trying una__sisted mum decided to go on clomid. and much to her surprise she fell straight away on the first round.. She had an ultrasound at 6 1/2 weeks and everything was great...but since has had very light spotting on and off so I have my fingers crossed for her as she is going in for an u/s at 3 pm today. And coincidently I am also pregnant just 1 week behind mum....well I wish you all the best and hope you get what you want....thanks for reading
