Hey Melissa it was around 5 and he said on a medicated cycle the minimum was fifteen. So he put me on Provera for ten days which I have one day left for tomorrow and then I start Clomid 100mg. I am spotting today so my cycle my start soon. I am also on Glucophage 500mg for PCOS. I take Clomid on days 3-7. Best of luck to you!

I am 25 and I have just been diagnosed with PCOS. I have been trying to conceive for almost a year and half now with no luck. My doctor has placed me on clomid and I started taking this on 6/29. If anyone can give me any information about how long it normally takes to conceive on clomid I would appreciate it.

Patrice-I am also 25 and was recently diagnosed with PCOS, we also have been trying(our 2nd) for a little over a year. I am on my 2nd cycle of clomid and hope that we will know something soon. I did read that it could take up to 3 cycles to make you ovulate. But my doc will only let me be on it for 3 cycles. Best of luck to you!!

patrice- I am also 25, have PCOS and have been trying for our 2nd child for over a year. I just finished my 2nd round of clomid. I read that it could take up to 3 cycles to make you start ovulating. My first cycle did not work(did not ovulate). I think everyone differs. I also know that some docs will only let you be on it for 3-4 cycles. Best of luck to you!!

Well, I'm on Clomid 100mg... first month and I took it about two weeks ago. My temperature is up for four days in a row now... cross your fingers for me guys. baby dust to everyone.

My temperature is up and down everyday. I have a digital basal thermometer... my doctor told me this might happen, if I used a "digital". Oh well. Plus, I wake up at 5 in the morning to pee, go back to sleep, wake up at 9 and then take my temp... do you think this is also messing me up?

angie - sounds so good keep us posted!! O - I would suggest taking your tep whenever it is u get up to pee in the early a.m. Hope this helps.

I was wondering when to expect ovulation while taking clomid 50 mg. Also, has anyone had success with Ovulation Predictor Tests?

One more question, has anyone successfully taken cmid 50 mg on days 1-5 resulting in a pregnancy?

Hi everyone. I'm not getting my hopes up, yet. I've had my bbt high five days in a row and I've been feeling a little "blah" and a couple other things, it might just be PMS kicking in this month. What I do know is that I just finished crying about ten minutes ago. I don't know what is wrong with me, but I keep crying for no reason at all and I want it to stop. It's one of three things. one, I'm pregnant (should I be so lucky). Two, I'm about to start my period. or Three, I'm still having some side-effects due to the Clomid. I wonder what it is, I feel like a train wreck. I feel totally lost, lonely, tired, annoyed, aggravated, and everything else that ISN"T good. Can someone PLEASE tell me this is Normal?

Angie - all I can say from my experieince is when I was pg my temp went up & stayed up until I got a BFP & stopped taking it....Its stress thats making you upset...relax god will take care of this for you....I feel very positive that you are pg!

Lauren, thanks for the advice. I still have about three more days until I am supposed to get my period. I don't want to test yet, mainly because I know how much more emotional I will be if the results aren't good. I've been having a hard time this month and I know I've been putting my DH through hell. I hope he understands... he's a good man. My temp is high every morning now AND I wake up at six or seven in the morning everyday now. This is strange since I am not a morning person... I usually wake up at 9:15 or so. I don't know what to think, but I sure hope you are right and I do believe you when you say that god wiill help me through all of this. Thanks for the input... Trust me, every word of advice helps me out a lot.

angie - getting close to the TEST...I have a good feeling stay positive we will all know very soon. What dpo are you now? you took clomid 100 but for what days?

Lauren, well see... I took the clomid 100mg on days 5-9, but my temp never went up.... however, I did have other symptoms of ovulation (i.e.. egg white like discharge) around cd 17 and I am now on day 26. I bought an EPT today. I am feeling so winded. I can't walk more than five to ten minutes without breaking out into a sweat and being short of breathe. I HOPE its pg and not something I am gonna have to go through every month with clomid until I am pg. I can go on with the symptoms I'm having and have you help decipher what my deal is. And I know you are pretty sure that I am pg, but I don't want to jinx myself by thinking or believing that. I've done that many times to myself. I've gotten my hopes up and nothing. However, I've never felt like this before. Tell me what you think! BTW, r u trying to conceive or pg?

Angie- I was crazy when i was on clomid - crying then mad then crying. it really messed with my emotions & my vision. With me - vacation didn't work, got my period on saturday & have an apt. with dr. in the morning to discuss the dye test & my hubbie has apt. on thursday - he's so excited. Angie - I have been pg 2 tiems & have 2 girls you do get a diff. feeling thats for sure. My 1st I had the sorest nipples ever. What day do you plan to test? There have been a few people on here that tested BFP on 9 dpo? let me know. I am trying to conceive #3 & would love twins!!
