Anya, the HSG did not take long. I work at the hospital where I had it, so my OB/GYN scheduled it for noon, which allowed me to work in the morning. I shouldn't have worked though, I was an emotional wreck. However, once I went to have the test, I was in and out in about 45 minutes. Hubby went with me, which I HIGHLY recommend. It was not the most pleasant of tests. However, the results are instantaneous, and mine were pretty good, thank goodness. Like I said in a previous message, I am on Clomid again this month, so I am waiting to see...several things I have read say fertility increases after an HSG. It flushes out your tubes. Again, baby dust and prayers to you.

Beth.. i have been on clomid for two rounds last year .. ovulating but not concieving. after that i did the HSG and it came that both of my tubes are closed !!! after that i went for two mini operations that are similar to the HSG process but they induce a medicine rather than a dye to make sure that they will still be patent. the month that followed i was put on clomid for a another cycle .. have concieved that time right awya after the HSG but unfortunetly i miscarried at 6 weeks and still do not have an explanation for what happened. i took two months off and started again with clomid. this is my third cycle i am on cd15 which means i am supposed to be on my most fertile days. i was just wondering how long could we be on clomid without turning for a second opinion. by the way since when have you been trying and how many cycles of clomid have you been to??? baby dust to you all.

for you anya .. my test was completley anightmare .. they said it happens only when your tubes are blocked (which was my case) .. any way as beth said you have to take some tablets befor ethe test (nopain or diglogesik or any pain relief medicine you are familiar with) prioer to the HSG that will help alot in reliefing you from the consequences. i wish you all girls best of luck.. and yeah HSG enhance your pregnancy propability.. that was what happened with me. keep on touch with the results.

Congrats!!! I conceived twice w/Clomid (prescribed). The first time with a singleton (miscarried), and the second time with triplets (successful pregnancy). I did not gain weight that quickly in the beginning. If you haven't been eating a lot more, maybe its just water weight (like bloating). Even if you were pregnant with twins/triplets, at 5 weeks they are so small that you wouldn't be putting on baby weight yet.

Hey beth thanxs for your prayers...I went to church and I prayed that he would bless me with one more angel....I took a blood test last thursday and should be gettin the results very soon...Anyways i was bleeding for alittle while then it stopped...I am still having symptoms and signs of pregnancy even though I bleed...I have also still been drainning from my nipples and not just one but both are now drainning..i dont know what this means...maybe i want it so badly my body is playing games on me...I wish everyone the best and send all the baby dust to all....my one wish this christmas is to be pregnant...Happy holidays to all

hello everyone:O) Im starting this month on clomid 3-7 will also be taking esrtadiol 8-12 and prochieve starting day 17. My question is about s_x doc said starting day 12-17 every other day. I have read that while on clomid you can O later. Should I continue having s_x or stop on day 17? thanks

hey mina .. i take clomid day 2-6 i do ovulate on day 15 ... as women bodies are different try to visit your doctor for a sonar test to check the size of your eggs, he can give you an estimated time for intercourse. we do intercourse every day from 13-17 and everyother day after that .. wish you luck

Kotkot, I am on my fourth round of Clomid (first 2 rounds were 50 mg, and the second 2 rounds were 100 mg). I have 3 refills for Clomid after this month, and if nothing happens, then I have to decide on whether or not to see a specialist (Can I handle the additional stress?!). My OB/GYN does not want to prescribe any more Clomid, and it will be beyond his scope at that point. My husband and I have been trying for almost 2 years. Hi all. I've finished my first round of clomid after having had couple of months with progesterone to regulate hormones. I'm trying to monitor ovulation with a saliva ovulation predictor and the ovulation time seemed to come on early and still showing strong signs 4 days later. Has anyone else tried using the saliva predictor? I applaud you all for the way you share your thoughts and wishes for becoming pregnant!

I just found out I'm pregnant about a week ago. I am now 5 weeks also. I too have sharp and dull pains in my lower abdomin. I have asked about it and I've been told it was normal. I was very scared also. I've had one miscarriage and I didn't want to lose this one. But I think your safe. Congragulations.
