Tessa, congrats!! I love your name I've always wanted to name a baby girl by that name. You said this was you're first cycle? How many miligrams were you one? Have you had problems berfore getting preg? Let me know, I would love a response.... Haven't gotten to much feedback. Have a good THANKSGIVING :)...

Hi Tessa! Congrats on your positive! I'm interested in knowing the dosage you took as well. I didn't have that success on my 1st round.

Hi there, I started my first round of Clomid this month as Dr said Im not ovulating. My partner and I have been TTC for over a year now. Haven't had any side effects, but am really low which I put down to just being sad about not being able to conceive. Keep asking myself: Will it ever happen??

Emmygyrle01 - November 26

Katie, I understand about being low. But don't be discouarged. Always remember that every woman's body is different. Clomid has a great success rate. You may conceive on the 1st round or on the 3rd round. But don't count yourself out as of yet. Purchase a Ovulation Predictor, to monitor while on Clomid. And most importantly....try not to stress. I know, believe me it's hard. My husband and I have been trying to conceive on our own for more than 5 years. I'm on my 2nd round of clomid and in "faith" waiting for that "positive" Result. Be encouraged. YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Emmygyrle01, thank you so much for your positive words of encouragement. Some days I feel really positive, but other days utterly miserable!! It was kind of you to be so supportive, especially seen as though you are also in this situation. I think perphaps I am finding it so hard, as all my family and friends are so fertile and I find myself surrounded by babies and people asking "are you guys still trying?" My partner takes the view of it will happen if we don't think about it and we relax. This is what I'm trying to do, I just find it so difficult. Maybe I should get him to take me on a fantastic holiday Ha-Ha!! :-))

Well, I made it through my due date yesterday for the baby I miscarried 7 months ago. BUT, I took my first round of clomid this month, days 3-7, and this morning I took a HPT and there was a faint line for positive. Im scared to get my hopes up, but I read if there is even the slightest line it it positive. Keep us in your prayers.

Sara - November 29

Talia, I hope it is positive. I would wait until you get a definate line to be excited. I seem to always get the faint lines and get all excited and it turns out not to be. When are you due for you peirod? When did you take clomid?

Talia - November 29

I should start my period around the 3rd of Dec. I took clomid on Nov 4-8. I am nervous if it is positive and if it isnt. I dont want to miscarry again. Have u had luck with clomid?

Sara - November 29

Talia, Do not get excited yet! I do not know I took clomid day 3-7 on November 15. So I am not due for my period until December 15 or so. You can get a blood test now and it will confirm. Question- Did you have cramping the whole month that felt like tightness not menstal cramps? That is what is throwing me off. And making me get excited. I wanted to know if anyone else has felt that. And not been pregnant.

Nikki - November 29

hey Taliaour, I don't want to get your hopes up but when I found out I was pregnant all 4 of my tests had just that faint line, I went to the doctor and it was positive. I'm so excited to hear that. I really hope it happens for you. I know you'll make a great mom. Good luck to all. Your in my thoughts and prayers!

Nikki - November 29

oops Talia, sorry.

Sara - November 29

Make sure the line has color before 10 min.

Talia - November 29

Thanks for the quick responses. I had cramping at the beginning of the month. I hope I am but I asked my husband if he saw the line to make sure I wasnt imagining things. I guess Ill take another one Saturday and then call my doctor. I always feel stupid calling my OBGYN for false alarms.

Sara - November 29

Don't feel stupid they are there for you and should be very supportive. Is the line the same color as the control line just faint? There is an evaporation line that happens sometimes that does not have color but is definately a line. I have lots of experience reading those tests:(

Talia - November 29

It has color but it is faint. I have taken one about every two days for a week and none of the others have had this line. Im not getting my hopes up. Ill just take another one this weekend if my period doesnt start on time.
