I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins and I haven't been able to quit smoking. The harder I try the more I smoke. I'm so frustrated and scared. Has anyone else smoked? Any tips for quiting?

I am 9 weeks pregnant. I smoke as well, but have cut way back and plan to quit completely. I have a friend that was an avid smoker and quit when she was pregnant by going for accupuncture. I made an appointment for myself. It's worth a try! It can also help with the little (or not so little) aches and pains that we get when we are pregnant! Good luck.

I was a smoker for 15 years and the day I tested positive, I quit. It has been hard, but you need to think about the risks of smoking while you are pregnant. Low birth weight, which can lead to SIDS, cleft palate, etc.... it is just not worth it.
