sorry for such an innapropriate question and i dont mean to be vulgar but im just curious. just before the birth did you women wax your bikini line or all of it? i just is it not embarrasing in the hospital if you dont and would it not get messy with tha hair and the blood etc? sorry for such a graphic question but i am just wondering beacuse i would be kind of embarrased i think. please let me know, im not asking for graphic details though! i just want to know if it should be done. thanks.

The DR's dont' care what you look like. I doubt they even notice with all that's going on.

i shaved for my second delivery. i did it for myself, not the medical team. it was a lot neater with bleeding after delivery. do whatever YOU want to do.

Embara__sed, it's up to you to decide what you are comfortable with. After the birth, you are going to be way to ecited about your baby and you won't even be thinking about it. When it is time for you to think about it, hospitals usually give you this little bottle that you can use to clean yourself up with b/c it will be too painful to wipe. That little bottle was an absolute godsend to me. BTW, not everyone relieves themself while they are delivering- it happens, but it's not the end of the world. When I had my son, the only one peeing was him- all over the dr!
