Hi BlessedMommy! I'd love to hear your experience with clomid! We are planning to start ttc in late october-early november (my husband doesnt know about my clomid plans though). I'm doing my research about clomid now. How many mg are you planning to take? I'm planning to take 100mg but a little scared of the hyperstimulation, might decide on 50mg. I ovulate on my own and just started charting temps. Where did you buy your clomid?

Im so excited for yall!!! I have went back and forth on the dosage but finally decided on 100mg on cd3-7. Since I ovulate on my own as well I think we should be successful on first cycle so I wanted to go ahead with the higher dosage in hopes of increasing chance of twins. We ordered at drugsplanet dot org. I just got the tracking number in my email. They said it may take up to 21days to get here. my friend is a pharmacist so i will have her check out the pills for me and let you know what she says. I wanted to order from mexmeds dot com because alot of other women posted they got it from there but it said the shop was temporarily not accessible so we tried our luck with the other site. another one i have seen posted a lot is mexmeds4u dot com. do you plan on taking mucinex along with the clomid?

I'll probably do 100 mg too. It's nice that your friend will check the pills, i was worried that I might end up with something totally different! :) I will wait for your reply and then will order my clomid from the same web site. I am planning to do mucinex and progesterone cream. Are you doing aspirine too? I am still debating... Right now I am taking prenatal vitamins and fish oil. Why are you taking folic acid on top of prenatal vitamins? I thought folic acid is in prenatals already?

I meant prenatal WITH folic acid lol my Dr always made a big deal to make sure my vitamins had it...i will most likely take the baby asprin...Sept. Can't get here fast enough!

Oh, ok, I see. Are you tracking your temps? I feel the same way, I can't wait for Oct-Nov. Do you have any other kids? I have a 10 month old who is keeping me really busy. :)

Yes we have two handsome boys...a four year old and 14month old. I will start chatting bbt when af shows face. with our other two pregnancies I just knew exactly when I ovilayed cuz I cramped really bad but since clomid Can change when u ovulate I want to be extra positive we are BDing at the right times. Have u heard or read anything else to help us? Is your baby a boy or girl?

After you made a comment about folic acid I did some research and it looks like they recommend 600mg of folic acid and some people do take it on top of prenatals. I'll have to check how much folic acid is in my prenatals. Also, I am charting my bbt on fertility gal dot com, it's actually very helpful and easy to use (so much easier than paper charts!) My temps are all over the place, not sure if I'm charting wrong or something. I have a baby girl, I love being a mommy to a girl, she is absolutely beautiful! From what I've read, a lot of people have girls when they take clomid, hopefully we'll get a boy this time (or 2) :) I'm getting more and more nervous about clomid and ovarian hyperstimulation. If it happens to me, I just dont know how I'd explain to the doc what I took and why. You are doing it unprescribed too right? I'm still planning to do 100mg. I cant wait when your friend checks the pills so I could order it from the same website. I'm getting really impatient and anxious to start the process! Oh, and somebody on this forum (a pharmacist) said that the doc wont be able to tell if you took clomid or not but here is what I found: "Based on early studies with 14C-labeled clomiphene citrate, the drug was shown to be readily absorbed orally in humans and excreted principally in the feces. Cumulative urinary and fecal excretion of the 14C averaged about 50% of the oral dose and 37% of an intravenous dose after 5 days. Mean urinary excretion was approximately 8% with fecal excretion of about 42%. Some 14C label was still present in the feces 6 weeks after administration. Subsequent single-dose studies in normal volunteers showed that zuclomiphene (cis) has a longer half-life than enclomiphene (trans). Detectable levels of zuclomiphene persisted for longer than a month in these subjects. This may be suggestive of stereo-specific enterohepatic recycling or sequestering of the zuclomiphene. Thus, it is possible that some active drug may remain in the body during early pregnancy in women who conceive in the menstrual cycle during Clomid therapy." Lol no you didn't! I'm addicted to any info about clomid LOL....Ok I am so excited right now!! I just got a call from customer service and they said payment and order has been processed and my order has been shipped!! I was getting a little worried because they had put a hold on my account for the amount due which they said they would cause they don't charge the card until after the order is shipped. but my email said it should ship in 24hours. so 24hours went by and my card was charged but i didnt get the email saying the order was shipped so i was thinking oh c___p we got scammed. but just now i got a call saying yes your order has been shipped and here is the tracking number. I checked my email and they sent the tracking number there too. I think that is pretty awesome that they called. I am confident now with this website. they say 10-14 days to arrive but said to allow for 21days. other posts i read some of the ladies said it does take awhile so i will try not to freak out if its not here soon Lol...I am just so geeked because its one step closer to our "twins"!! As soon as they arrive and i get the ok from my friend i will let you know! (oh and yes its u/p) my crazy doctor probably would give it to us cause she loves prescribing medicine but we didn't feel like going through all the appointments and consulations blah blah! the cost of clomid is way cheaper than all those unneccesary appointments. (dont judge lol) I will try that website for charting. when do you take your temp. i heard its supposed to be right when you wake up before you get out of bed and do anything. as far as the ovarian hyperstimulation im not competely sure but "i think" and its a big "i think" that the more cycles you use clomid the more chances for complications. and most doctors start off with a 100mg from what i've read so far. but maybe you could try 50mg for a day or too if you are too worried about 100mg. Now I Hope I didnt bore you with my extra long post lol :)

Hi BlessedMommy! Sorry I was missing for a while, we were away for the holidays, now back to reality. I'm so excited for you getting the clomid so soon! No judging here at all! I'm doing the same thing. I take my temps right after I wake up and before I get out of bed. Time is just dragging by right now, cant wait to start... Girls, if anyone wants to join BlessedMommy and me with their clomid adventure, you are more than welcome to, we'd love to have more cycle buddies!

I hope you enjoyed your trip! We will be going to vegas soon to kill time and get a break from everything. As I keep reading different stuff everyday I cant decide if I want to take it days 2-6 or 3-7. What days do you plan on taking it. I read that earlier days like 2-6 produce more eggs but may not be as healthy eggs like in later days 3-7.

I was wondering about the same thing and I'm thinking about doing 2-6 days. My cycles are usually kinda long - 30-32 days but I cant find any info if your cycle length has any impact on when you take clomid. I read on this forum that one of the ladies took clomid for like 7 days instead of five. But I dont think it's safe. I have 2-3 more cycles before clomid not counting the one I'm on now (still waiting for ovulation on this cycle). Did you read about agida yams supplements? Are you planning on doing anything like that?

Hi ladies can I but in. I too am going on the journey of clomid. Here is what I wrote about myself in another topic. Hi all, newbie here. I am a 31 yr old mom of 1 who desperately wants to have at least 2 more kids. my son is 10 so its been a while for me. I am obese but my Dr. says im fine to have kids. The reason I have decided to try to have twins is that I have RA. I would like to make this the only time I have to get off my meds since I am disabled without them. My RA Dr has cleared me for prenancy so my last Methrotrexate injection will be next Sunday. I then will have to wait 3 months for it to get out of my system. In 2 months I will increse my folic acid from 2mg a day to 4 mg a day which by itself I read taking that much can cause twins. At the end of the 3 months I will stop bc pills. I will take my clomid on cd 2-6. I also have always had normal cycles every month so I do not have a problem ovulating at all. Is there something else I can do to increase my chances? Also dur to the face that I am obese should I take 100mg or 150mg since I read clomid does not work as well in overweight women. Oh and I also read that clomid does not stop normal ovulation meaning, that I will o like I normally do aand that if the clomid works it will make me o again. Im just looking for any advice you might have I will also take Robitussin to help with cm when I bd.

I've been reading this forum for over a year. I have finally talked my husband into "trying" starting in Sept. I'm a student and don't want to miss and school so we're aiming for summer babies. We have a 3yr daughters and 15 month old son. I really want 2 more kids and twins would be great. I've already ordered my clomid and hcg trigger and gone on birth control for a couple months prior. I'm just having a really hard time waiting 2 whole months!

did you order your hcg trigger online unprescribed? if so where did u get it and your clomid and how are you going to use it. I dont know how to use the trigger.

I ordered it at alldaychemist com. Its Unprescribed. I got the 10,000i.u premixed. I will be using it on cd14 maybe 13. (haven't decided yet) I still haven't decide what CDs I'm going to take my clomid.
